Chaos & Crocodiles Once Upon A Unicorn Collection + Dragon Stories: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I am very excited to share with you Chaos & Crocodiles newest polishes. The Once Upon a Unicorn Collection consists of 6 holographic polishes is spring shades and I also have another addition to the Dreaming of Dragons series, Dragon Stories.

Application on these were so flipping easy, I barely need to do any clean-up, that's how great the formula is for these polishes. I only needed two coats for full coverage with each polish though you could sneak away with just one if that's how you roll. I am continually impressed by the quality of Chaos & Crocodiles polishes and I hope that you guys will love these too.

All the polishes shown today will be released this Sunday, March 29th in Chaos & Crocodiles' shop. She has not confirmed the exact time but if you follow her on Facebook or Instagram, those details will be announced soon.

Chaos & Crocodiles City in the Clouds
Two coats
Light blue linear holographic with faint silver shimmer
A beautiful shade of blue. It makes me think of clear blue skies and lounging on the grass underneath.

(Direct Sunlight)

Chaos & Crocodiles Forgotten Paths
Two coats
Pink-toned beige linear holographic with slight gold shimmer
Oh yes, so much love for this color. It's neutral yes, but with enough pink to it to make it interesting.

(Direct Sunlight)

Chaos & Crocodiles Spun Sugar Magic
Two coats
Orchid linear holographic with subtle purple shimmer
Some major magic going on here, in this wonderful orchid/berry/red toned purple. But magic is in it's name so it's only appropriate. It is always hard to pick a favorite but this is probably the one I like the most from the collection.

Chaos & Crocodiles Tropical Candy Flowers
Two coats
Coral linear holographic with faint pink to gold shimmer
UGH YES PERFECT. Nothing else to say....

(Direct Sunlight)

Chaos & Crocodiles Unicorn Symphony
Two coats
Dusky aqua green linear holographic with slight turquoise shimmer
For all those green holo polish lovers out there, this one's for you. Also, I would pays lots of money to see a legit unicorn symphony, you know that would be a life changing experience.

(Direct Sunlight)

Chaos & Crocodiles Wishing Star Sky
Two coats
Periwinkle purple linear holographic with subtle blue shimmer
Have you grown tired of me exclaiming about the colors in this collection yet? No? Okay one more....how awesome is this purple? Cooler in tone compared to Spun Sugar Magic.

(Direct Sunlight)

Chaos & Crocodiles Dragon Stories
Two coats
Dark purple jelly base with fuschia to purple to blue multi-chrome flakes and holo pigment
So freaking hard to take photos of this one. It's definitely one of those, see it to believe it type of polishes. The chrome flakes look almost iridescent in the dark purple jelly base and with the added holo, you will want to make sure and score Dragon Stories.

  12. LOL yeah I agree, not very original BUT....BUT...so good formula wise it makes me want to purge the other colors in my collection that are similar and keep these instead.
