Elevation Polish Woke Up in China Collection + Yeti the Stone Warrior: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! It's that time of the month, the time we get to see what Elevation Polish is releasing for their newest collection. For July's release, this is the Woke Up in China Collection, a four polish set. There will also be a limited edition Yeti the Stone Warrior, tying into the China theme. There is also a new collaborative duo that is going to be released in July, check back within the next week or so for those polishes. They are amazing and I can't wait to show you!

Elevation Polish Woke Up in China Collection (plus Yeti the Stone Warrior) will be released Tuesday, July 7th, at 9 PM CST in Elevation Polish's shop.

Elevation Polish Kawagebo
Two coats
Light blue creme/jelly with gold micr-shimmer
There is nothing quite like a soft blue polish. It's flattering to many types of skin tones and it brings a sort of freshness to your nails. This has a gold micro-shimmer that gives it a nice touch. The shimmer is more subtle than in Yungang Grottoes, which is shown below. Light blue polishes can be streaky sometimes, this is just right, I applied two coats for full coverage, if you apply thinner coats, you may need three for complete opacity.

Comparison between Kawagebo and Walk a Little Farther
I had a feeling that someone would want to know how Kawagebo compared to another pale blue Elevation, specifically Walk a Little Farther. They are both light blue polishes but with very different shimmer. Walk a Little Farther is thinner, needing minimum three coats for coverage and it's blue shimmer gives it a cooler tone. Now you may not need both but in my opinion, they are different enough that you can justify having both in your collection.

Elevation Polish Mount Wutai
Two coats
Jade creme/jelly
My love affair with Elevation cremes continues with this sleek jade creme. It needs just two coats for complete coverage and has high shine to it (my pics have topcoat FYI). Also, I feel like this the PERFECT shade of jade green, not too dark and just the right amount of yellow. I know that Jade stones vary in color, from dark to light, but this reminds me of Fire King Jadeite and I love the somewhat translucent feel to it that is similar to Jadeite.

Elevation Polish Yungang Grottoes
Two coats
Coral creme/jelly with gold micro-shimmer
On the other end of the color spectrum, we have this warm coral. Formula wise, it's similar to Kawagebo, I got coverage with two coats but you may need to apply a third if you apply thinner coats. The shimmer is more prominent against the coral base.

Elevation Polish Camels in the Snow
Layered over Yungang Grottoes
Clear base with white and taupe varied glitter and iridescent gold.
This is one of those glitter toppers that would look awesome over both light and dark colors. You will get a more striking contrast aganist a darker color of course but it adds a lovely accent over light colors as well. I thought it complimented Yungang Grottoes really well, especially with the gold iridescence. You will get a pretty good amount of glitter coverage with one coat, I didn't need to fish for any of the stars or larger circles.

Elevation Polish Yeti the Stone Warrior
Layered over Kawagebo
Clear base with platinum micro-flakes and holo pigment
It's like a Winter Wonderland on my nails! I love that the platinum flakes are teen tiny. I personally like a sparser look, so that it doesn't hide the base color, which is why I applied one coat over Kawagebo. You can build coverage with another coat or two but I don't think you will be able to wear this without layering. As with previous Yeti polishes, Yeti the Stone Warrior will be available for the month of it's release, so throughout July.
