Lollipop Posse Lacquer Deck Your Halls Holiday 2015 Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi guys! I have Lollipop Posse Lacquer's Deck Your Halls Collection to share with you today. Here is a little intro from Karen:

"Deck Your Halls 2015 is a collection of seven shades that take their names courtesy of Lollipop's favorite actor - Arnold Schwarzenegger! In our house, the Lollipop hubs and I finally have enough time during the Holidays (we always take some time off together) to sit down and binge on our favorite action flicks. Hope you enjoy these polishes as much as we enjoy our Arnold!"

I love the inspiration and the pun-tastic names! Formula was all around without issue, though I will provide polish notes below the descriptions. I am also including Karen's thoughts behind the polishes in italics.

From the epic comedy "Twins", Cookies! I Can't Wait to Toss Them is the perfect Christmas sugar cookie in a bottle. I don't know about you, but the Holidays are never complete at our home or work without trays and trays and trays of cookies. We all KNOW we're going to eat too many, so why not be enthusiastic about it?!

The Deck Your Halls Holiday 2015 Collection will launch this Wednesday, November 18th at 8 pm EST in Lollipop Posse Lacquer' shop. Holographic shade are priced at $12, all other will be $9.75 and you can purchase the full seven polish set for a discounted $64 with free US shipping!

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Cookies! I Can't Wait to Toss Them
Putty nude crelly with large gold flakes, copper micro-glitter, and large-particle shimmer that flashes red, pink, or violet for a bit of a cinnamon-inspired sprinkle.
Very reminiscent of holiday sugar cookies. This may be a little warm on some but I think it would compliment a range of skin tones. Thinner style formula so three coats got me full coverage.

Another gem from "Kindergarten Cop", How Much Trouble Can They Be? is the question that we've all asked ourselves at one time or another - especially around the Holidays. Personally, it's what I say to myself every year when I decide that I'll bring in a tray of those cookies for my high school students on the last day of class before winter break. Sure, Lollipop Teach - sugar them up! How much trouble can they be? (I think you know where this is going...)

Lollipop Posse Lacquer How Much Trouble Can They Be?
Holographic copper micro-glitter, copper shimmer, gold hex glitter, and bronze micro flakes
Sparkle galore with this metallic glitter. Some micro-glitter polishes require multiple coats for coverage, this one was opaque in two, which makes me a happy blogger. You will want to double up your topcoat for a smooth finish though.

I'm Not Gonna Sit On YOUR Lap is taken from Arnold's unfortunate venture into Holiday movie-making, "Jingle All The Way". Anyways, skeezy mall Santa - what else needs to be said?

Lollipop Posse Lacquer I'm Not Gonna Sit On YOUR Lap
True red linear holo with red to gold shifting shimmer
Yowza! I hoard all the reds so of course I would need this. The formula is sooo good and I love the added gold shimmer. Two coats for coverage.

Yup, we all know one! Arnold was the "Kindergarten Cop" party pooper, but no Holiday would be complete without one of your very own - they're especially fun at the work party!

Lollipop Posse Lacquer I'm the Party Pooper
Plum-colored crelly with a red-shimmered base and large gold shimmer
The kind of shade that I didn't realize I was craving until I had it in had. If that makes any sort of sense lol. The jewel toned purple is so pretty. Depending on how thin your coats are, you could get away with two or may need three, I applied two for the photos below.

Ahhh, yes, Mr. Freeze. Winter certainly has come at long last. This polish takes its name from another Arnold doozy, "Batman and Robin".

Lollipop Posse Lacquer Winter...Has Come At Last
Vibrant blue jelly base with  teal, turquoise, and sapphire blue holographic micro-glitter
This made me start humming Blue Christmas (love that song!). It's got all that yummy sparkle. Three thin coats for coverage and generous layer of topcoat and you're done.

So how can you beat Arnold AND Sylvester Stallone?! You just can't! You Hit Like a Vegetarian is inspired by Arnold's quip to Sylvester after one of their tiffs in the movie "Escape Plan". This color is also dedicated to my mother - she's the vegetarian in the family, and I'm pretty sure she could kick anybody's butt at the Holiday dinner table!

Lollipop Posse Lacquer You Hit Like a Vegetarian
Evergreen linear holographic
A gorgeous shade of green. I like that it's not too yellow leaning but more like a spruce green. The formula is on the thin side but opaque enough that I only need two coats for coverage.

Sigh. If only I had listened to Arnold's sage advice from the 80's classic "Red Heat", I might have got back that security deposit on my first apartment...

Lollipop Posse Lacquer You Should Not Drink and Bake
Burgundy-based jelly with shimmered pigment that shifts between blue, red, violet, and orange
Wine and I do not mix either but I can appreciate this lovely wine colored polish. It has a heavy shimmer so wait a few minutes between coats to prevent any dragging. Two coats for coverage.
