Chaos & Crocodiles Dragon Lullabies & Dragon Snorgles: Swatches and Review

Purchased by Me
Hey guys! I have a couple of Chaos & Crocodiles polishes to share with today. I picked these up during her last pre-order/restock. It looks like she may be gearing up for another restock or release, if you follow her Facebook page, updates will be posted there.

Chaos & Crocodiles Dragon Lullabies
Two coats
Deep blue jelly base with green/teal/blue multi-chrome flakies, purple shimmer and a dash of holo
I love the contrast between of the chrome flakies against the blue base. And the jelly finish leaves you with that squishy, shiny effect.

Chaos & Crocodiles Dragon Snorgles
Two coats
Dark purple jelly base with blue/purple multi-chromes flakies and holo pigment
So stinking pretty, I almost can't stand it! My favorite of the two (if you couldn't tell). I wasn't able to get a direct sunlight photo but if you happen to wear this, wear it during a sunny day. The added holo pigment gives it an extra sparkle in the sun.

The Beauty Quartet Out With the Cold, In With the Hue April Box: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I am excited to share with you The Beauty Quartet Box for April, themed Out With the Cold, In With the Hue. If you don't have experience with the previously released boxes, here is a little blurb to introduce you:

So, with that info in hand, you are probably wondering what is in this month's box. April's Out With the Cold, In With the Hue box will consist of four polishes from Smokey Mountain Lacquers, Philly Loves Lacquer, Digital Nails, and guest maker Rica, as well as four other nail products from those same makers.

The Beauty Quartet Box is available now until March 15th, as a pre-order (though quantities max out at 50) in Philly Loves Lacquer's shop for $50 shipped in the US, $55 shipped to Canada, and $60 shipped internationally.

Smokey Mountain Lacquers Electric Sun
Two coats
Mid-tone yellow creme with yellow shimmer
This is such a sunny color, you can't help but be cheered up by it. No issues with formula.

Smokey Mount Lacquers Chocolate Angel Cake Cuticle Oil Rollerball
This is a full size rollerball, not a mini. The scent is just the right amount of sweetness to it.

Rica You're No April Fool
Three coats
Magenta linear holographic
I love the color, it's definitely one of my favorite shades of pink. The formula is on the thin side, but I got full color coverage in three coats. I don't have any direct sunlight photos for you, as the weather has been rainy and gloomy for weeks where I live.

Rica Glossy Glam Top Coat
This is a full size bottle of top coat, which was a very nice addition, I can never have too much top coat.

Digital Nails To Thine Own Self Be True
Two coats
Bright periwinkle blue with varied blue iridescent glitter
Another beautiful color! I especially like the glints of iridescence you see from the glitter in periwinkle base. It is on the thick side but that did not give me issues with application.

Digital Nails Bitter Almond Handmade Soap Square
This soap is just the right size and smells so good.

Philly Loves Lacquer Screw You, Groundhog!
Two coats
Coral orange linear holo with gold shimmer
I am gonna mention the color again but it's only because that is my favorite aspect of the box, all four polish colors (including this one) are nice and bright and definitely fit into the theme. This holo has a jelly base but it is opaque enough that I need just two coats for coverage.

Philly Loves Lacquer Could It BE Any Sunnier?! linear holographic top coat
This little mini bottle is so cute! And you can add some holo sparkle to whatever base you choose.

As I mentioned early, I wasn't able to get direct sunlight photos but I still wanted to show off how it would look over a base, so I applied it over one of my go-to blues, Nina Ultra Pro Cobalt

Remember the box is only available via Philly Loves Lacquer's shop until March 15th

OPI Spring 2015 Hawaii: My Picks

Purchased By Me
Hello! I am going mainstream today with some polishes from OPI's Spring 2015 Hawaii Collection. This collection could not come at a better time, as I am definitely craving some bright spring polishes to get through the last days of winter. This collection consists of seven cremes, four shimmers, and one very.....interesting glitter. I am have six of those creme polishes in my post, if you wanted to see what the other polishes in this collection looked like, check out Kellie Gonzo's review.

If I am being honest, I probably didn't *need* to get any of the colors shown as I likely have similar enough polishes in my collection already. But OPI has done well with their creme polishes, so when I saw these on display at my local nail supply, I grabbed the ones that appealed to me the most. They all applied really well, I only needed two coats for full coverage with each polish. And if you are looking for some nail art inspiration, I very much recommend pairing Aloha From OPI with Suzi Shops & Island Hops as I did a few weeks ago with this Instagram nail-of-the-day, the pink and red are such a pretty combination.

I purchased my polishes from a local nail supply but I know that these are out and for sale at Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply.

Indigo Bananas Event Horizon & Quantum Gravity: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! I have a couple more Indigo Banana polishes to share with you all today. If you recall, in January, I shared Accretion Disk and Galactic Halo and for today, I have the other two polishes from the Chrome Flakies line, Event Horizon and Quantum Gravity. All four polishes from the Chrome Flakies line can be purchased in holo and non-holo form and the ones I have are the non-holo versions.

Unlike the Mega Chrome Flakies line, these are much more opaque and build-able in two coats, so need to layer, though you could if you wanted. I do recommend waiting a few minutes between coats though, to prevent dragging. I love the look of these, they give the appearance of having texture though I did apply topcoat and had a smooth to touch finish when I took my pics. Of the two, Quantum Gravity is my favorite, the warm gold color is just gorgeous in person.

Even Horizon and Quantum Gravity, along with the other Chrome Flakies line, is available right now in Indigo Bananas' shop. You can purchase either the holo or non-holo versisons in either full or mini size.

Indigo Bananas Event Horizon
Two coats
Green/blue to purple chrome flakies in a clear base

Indigo Bananas Quantum Gravity
Two coats
Gold chrome flakies in a clear base
