Pahlish Fall Collection Thursday

Hey guys! How about some new Pahlishes to get you through the afternoon. These three are a part of Pahlish's Fall 2013 collection, all colors inspired by the interplay of light and texture. This collection includes a few holographic polishes and other glitter in creme finishes, all pretty dang great. The holo polishes applied very easily, three coats are needed, since the formula is more jelly like, and regular topcoat on top, which did not dull the holo effect.

Pahlish Black Lace Elderberry
Two coats
Red toned purple jelly with red and orange glitter and flakes.
Purple and red is such a great color combination and I really love how vibrant this whole look is.

Pahlish Kalanchoe Luciae
Three coats
Green holo with some gold shimmer and metallic red flakes.
The flakes give this green holo an extra special detailing. I love the inspiration of this polish:
This polish is a tribute to my very favorite plants: succulents. I love the range of colors that these unique plants showcase and I wanted to find a way to capture that in a bottle!

Pahlish Moon Like a Spotlight
Three coats
Ocean blue holo with blue micro-shimmer.
Definitely reminiscent of the big blue ocean and the scatter of light over the water.

To purchase any of the polishes shown today, look to Pahlish's Big Cartel shop, and her Facebook page, Blog, or Instagram for updates. Other stockists of Pahlish are Llarowe and Edgy Polish.

Darling Diva Holo Wednesday

Good morning! I have a few Darling Diva Polishes to share with you all. The holo lover that I am, my eyes were immediately drawn toward her newest ones. There are a few other new polishes in addition to these that are a part of Darling Diva's Halloween 2013 collection and you can check those out here

Darling Diva Polish My Coven Has Cookies
Two coats
Silver holo with holo charcoal glitter.
Part of Darling Diva's Halloween 2013 collection.
I would be a part of any coven that gave out cookies. Just sayin'
The silver color is wonderful and the addition of the holo charcoal glitter gives it a unique twist.

Darling Diva Polish SBP #2
Two coats
Sandy nude holo with orange micro-glitters.
This dries somewhat matte but with a regular layer of topcoat, the orange sparkle comes out.

Darling Diva Polish Slutty Pumpkin
Two coats
Pumpkin orange holo with black glitter throughout.
This is a limited run polish that was originally released last year and brought back for the current season.
I love orange so this one is a kind of automatic like for me.

To purchase any of these look to Darling Diva Polish's Big Cartel or Etsy shops and to her Facebook page for updates. Darling Diva Polish is also carried at LlaroweEdgy Polish, or Mei Mei's Signatures.

Pahlish Thunderous Sparks and Dark Carnival Duo

Hello guys and gals! I have a few Pahlishes on my blog for you today. Tom Fury and The Dust Witch are a one of Pahlish's October Limited Edition duos, called the Dark Carnival duo and it will be available for the remainder of the month. Thunderous Sparks is not a part of a specific collection or duo but is on sale, who can say no to a sale? To purchase any of the polishes shown today, look to Pahlish's Big Cartel shop, and her Facebook page or Instagram for updates.

Pahlish Thunderous Sparks
Two coats
Candy apple red jelly with pink/purple shimmer and iridescent purple sparks.
Love at first polish, at least for me. The color is bright and the iridescent purple flash give it a glows-from-within appearance.

Pahlish Tom Fury
Two coats
Dark moss green jelly with red, taupe, and charcoal flakes.
Deep, dark, and perfect for this time of the year.
A bit sheer with first coat but you get full coverage in two.

Pahlish The Dust Witch
Two coats layered over Tom Fury
Clear topper of orange, purple, light green and darker olive green glitters in various sizes.
Such a compliment to Top Fury! They are a well made match, and I especially love the light green circles.

Pahlish The Dust Witch
Two coats layered over Tom Fury and mattified

Darling Diva Polish Queen Collection Part Two

Good morning! I have another three polishes from Darling Diva Polish's Queen inspired collection. The first three I showed in this post. I absolutely love this collection, the color shift in all of them is strong (more so in person) and they are holo to the max. *coughcoughmorethanEnchantedPolishcough* In my previous post, I applied each polish over black but for this set of three, I wore each one solo, applying three coats for full coverage. I would recommend waiting a few minutes before each coat is you do not layer, if rushed, you may see more brushstrokes. My regular HK Girl topcoat did not dull the holo whatsoever. The polishes shown today are all limited edition, so get them while you can!

Darling Diva Polish Flash
Three coats
Color shifts from red to gold with a linear holo.
YES, love this! The color shift is especially strong in this one.

Darling Diva Polish We Are the Champions
Three coats
Color shift from gold/green to silver.
The colors are lovely and the holo as prominent as could be.
And I could not help singing, "We are the Champions, my friends...."

Darling Diva Polish We Will Rock You
Three coats
Color shift from teal to purple with linear holo.
Yeah, I kinda feel like stomping out We Will Rock You with this on, it's my favorite of the three.

To purchase any of these look to Darling Diva Polish's Big Cartel shop and to her Facebook page for updates. Darling Diva Polish is also carried at LlaroweEdgy Polish, or Mei Mei's Signatures though I don't know if the Queen inspired polishes will be carried by them.
