Celestial Cosmetics The Santamental Collection plus Oct, Nov, Dec, and Christmas LEs: Swatches and Review

Hello! For today I have Celestial Cosmetics' The Santamental Collection plus her monthly limited edition polishes for October, November, December and one for Christmas. Celestial Cosmetics Dear Santa, I Can Explain

Two coats

Medium green holographic with an orange shimmer
Shimmery olive green, like the perfect martini olive shade. Goes on nicely with two coats.

Celestial Cosmetics Don’t Get Your Tinsel in a Tangle

Two coats

Teal jelly base with holographic micro-glitter

Look at that beautiful teal blue! Lots of squishy shine from the jelly base. Depending on your nail length, you may just need two coats, if you have more length, you may need a third coat to cover you visible nail line.

Celestial Cosmetics I Can Get You on the Naughty List

Two coats

Dark purple linear holographic with color-shifting flakes

I love this dark blue-toned indigo purple, especially with those color-shifting flakes. You can see the glints of iridescence peak through the darker base.

Celestial Cosmetics Jingle My Bells

Three coats

Lilac tinted silver base with holographic micro-glitter

Crisp and soft but also full of holiday sparkle, which is perfect for this time of the year.

Celestial Cosmetics Santa Only Comes Once a Year

Two coats

Blue based holographic with gold to green shimmer

Such a bright tropical blue! It has a metallic look to it, with some visible brushstrokes.

Celestial Cosmetics Santa, Define Good?

Two coats

Darker pink jelly with holographic micro-glitter

Another juicy jelly with holo glitter. This one is more opaque though, less visible nail line with two coats.

Celestial Cosmetics Marigold

Two coats

Red/gold duo-chrome in a burgundy base with orange shimmer and gold flakes

October LE

Rusty orange with some flashes of gold and red. On the thicker side, so thin coats will be best.

Celestial Cosmetics Chrsysanthemum

Three coats

White based scattered holographic with a blue candy pigment, blue silver micro-flakes and blue holo micro-glitter

November LE

Icy blue which compliments the white base really well. This is slightly on the frosty side but not enough to make it an issue.

Celestial Cosmetics Narcissus

Three coats

White based crelly with violet and pink sparks

December LE

So light and dreamy, I love that the shimmer makes the white base take on a cotton candy hue.

Two coats

Black based subtle duo-chrome holographic with color-shifting flakes

Christmas LE

Another metallic toned holo with subtle flashes of pink/purple.

Color4Nails Pun with Pokémon Collaboration Collection: Swatches and Review

Hi everyone! For today I have a new collaboration collection from Color4Nails that will be releasing soon. For this six polish set, Color4Nails teamed up with six brands who each created a polish inspired by a Pokémon character, the six makers include Cadillacquer, Celestial Cosmetics, Delush Polish, Different Dimension, Ever After Polish, and Nine Zero Lacquer.

I think the brands did a great job with the collection, you can totally see where the inspiration plays into the colors and the pun-tastic names are the cherry on top. Look for this set to be released Friday, October 7th in Color4Nails' shop. The polishes will be available as a set as well as individually, but I know for those Pokémon fans, gotta catch 'em all!

Cadillacquer Wishing Upon a Staryu

Three coats
Red jelly base with gold flakes and glitter
So bright and saturated, yum. Goes on well, not too thick or thin in formula though because of it's jelly base, I needed three coats for opacity.

Celestial Cosmetics Judge, Jury, and Exeggcute-tioner

Two coats

Dusky light rose pink with silver shimmer and holographic pigment

A nicely done, lighter toned pink holo. It's a shimmer/pigment heavy polish, so slightly on the thicker side but application was easy with two thin coats. The holo effect is more a scattered density variety.

Delush Polish Bad to the Cubone

Three coats

Black base with gold shimmer and off white and golden glitter

I love how this takes on an olive, or antiqued gold, look with the addition of that heavy gold shimmer. There are some circle glitter pieces that didn't end up on the nail though I do see them in the bottle, my recommendation is to let the bottle sit upside down for a few minutes before applying so you can get those on the nail. Otherwise, application was good, I used three thinner coats for opaque coverage.

Different Dimension Don't Be Tentacruel

Medium sky blue linear holographic
Application for this was so so easy, two coats with no clean up needed. Different Dimension is a brand that I can rely on to have a good consistent application for her holo polishes and this was no different. The color is very pretty and the holo is a medium density one.

Ever After Polish Pikachu, I See You

Three coats

Dusky buttercup yellow linear holographic with pink/orange shimmer

With a Pokeman inspired set, there had to be a yellow! And this is a verry nice one. I love the added shimmer, it brightens up the dusky yellow shade. It's on the sheer side, this is three thin coats and I still had a bit of visible nail line. When I re-wear this again, I will likely add a ridge builder base coat.

Nine Zero Happily Eevee After

Two coats

Copper linear holographic

Ohhhh yes. I love metallic looking holographic polishes and this is gorgeous! Nicely opaque with two coats and as I would expect of a metallic polish, there are some visible brushstrokes but they are not super obvious.

Celestial Cosmetics Pun-tastic Collection plus June LE Rose: Swatches and Review

Celestial Cosmetics Don’t Listen, He’s Lion

Three coats

Green linear holographic with green/gold color-shifting flakes

Those flakes! In that green! Yum. Thinner formula so three coats worked best.

Celestial Cosmetics Freaking Meow-T

Two coats

Turquoise linear holographic with pink fleck shimmer

Of the two blue toned polishes in the collection, I like this one more. It's such a vibrant shade.

Celestial Cosmetics I Don’t Give A Fox

Two coats

Ocean blue holographic with slight green shimmer and blue flecks

That name may be my favorite pun name of the set! The color is wonderful and opaque enough for two coats.

Celestial Cosmetics Irr-Elephant

Two coats

Light rose pink with silver flakes and holographic pigment

A very nice color, especially with the silver flakes though it may be too dusky rose for my taste. Two thin coats for coverage.

Celestial Cosmetics This Is Panda-monium

Two coats

Raspberry pink linear holographic with iridescent flakes

This is my favorite of the collection (you probably could guess that though). It's so squishy with it's more jelly like formula and I like the flakes. They peak through the base but are not super visible, just enough to add some depth.
