Monster Polish With Friends Like These....Collection: Review and Swatches

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! I have a new collection from Monster Polish for review. If you recall, Monster Polish is a newer indie on the block, I shared some of her debut polishes last November. The polishes I have today are a part of her With Friends Like These...Collection, a five piece set all inspired by Monster Polish's favorite TV friendships.

The polishes are lightly colored shimmer heavy polishes, opaque in two coats. You will want to apply thin coats and I would recommend waiting a few minutes between coats to prevent dragging. Otherwise, no issues with application. These have lots of various shimmer, iridescent glitter and added holo pigment so a lot detailing but nothing looks over-worked. I wish I would have had a chance to take photos of these in direct sunlight because I bet they would look amazing in the sun but alas the weather here in Central Texas has been rain central for weeks now.

The With Friends Like These...Collection can be purchased in full size (13 ml) for $10 and mini size (7 ml) for $6, as well as the entire set at a discounted price of $45 in Monster Polish's shop

Introducing Monster Polish!: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey guys! I am coming out of the void that is Thanksgiving weekend, slowly but surely. Today I have two new polishes from a new indie brand, Monster Polish. Monster Polish is the brainchild of Diana, who has been creating her polishes for a while now, mainly as gifts to friends. She will now be producing her pretty polishes and decals/vinyls for public purchase and I for one, am excited to see what she will have in store as she progresses.

For the initial launch of Monster Polish, Diana collaborated with Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to create a 5 polish set inspired by the Doctors of Doctor Who. The two polishes I am sharing are by Monster Polish and the other three are from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer, you can view those on her Facebook page. You can purchase the set (as a pre-order) today in both Monster Polish's shop as well as via Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's shop at 3:30 pm EST. If you go with the 5 polish collection, you will also receive 4 sets of 5 Monster Polish nail vinyls (Bananas, Bow Ties, 3D Glasses and Dinosaurs), or you can purchase polishes individually in each respective maker's shop.

Before I get the polish review, I just wanted to show off the all that was in my box. That little green monster is a magnet (that immediately went on my helmer next another brand's magnet) and the little monsters on that white hair tie, seriously cute!

I LOVE the logo and branding that Diana has come up with. It's playful and fun and catches your attention right away. I didn't get a chance to wear the decals, so here is a close-up of what they look like:

Monster Polish I Was Hoping For Minimalism But I Think I Came Out With Magician
Two coats
Deep blue jelly base with red and blue shimmer.
Inspired by the 12th Doctor and his signature outfit.
Very much a Doctor Who blue and the shimmer is gorgeous. A little on the thick side formula wise but otherwise easy application.

Monster Polish What's Wrong With this Jumper?
Two coats
Charcoal satin finish with purple shimmer and added holographic pigment.
Inspired by 9th Doctor and his signature leather look.
This is one of those polishes that is so much better in person, my photos do not do it justice. That shimmer man, it is killer! No issue with application either. It will dry to a satin finish but a layer of topcoat will fix that if you prefer to have it shine.

(Direct Sunlight)

These will be available today at 3:30 pm EST in Monster Polish's shop, individually or as a set
(along with three Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquers).
