Urban Lacquer Members Only Collection: My Picks

Hey guys! I have a couple of Urban Lacquer polishes from her most recent collection. These two are a part of the Members Only collection that was released in February for Valentine's Day The polishes were all inspired by...ahem...a man's "business". So playful names are to be expected. 

Urban Lacquer One-Eyed Dragon 

Three coats

Blue to green multi-chrome.

Instant want. It's a very rich color that shifts from green to teal and then to dark blue in other angles. Note that this is not layered over a darker base. I actually wore it over black on my left hand but I prefer it worn by itself. The "glows from within" aspect comes through more with multiple layers. 

Urban Lacquer Schlong

Two coats

Ocean blue linear holographic

Very pretty and I couldn't help myself to adding another blue holographic to my collection. The color is nice and deep though, I haven't done a side by side comparison but I don't think I have another blue holo in this specific shade.

Urban Lacquer Take It Offline and Torrid Sky

Hey guys!! I am so glad to be back. I still have a full schedule of school and work but my workload is a bit relieved now. Today I have a few Urban Lacquer's to share with you all. These were included in my Opposite of Good Collection package, one more work-appropiate, the other a glitter bomb, but both great additions the Urban Lacquer catalog.

Urban Lacquer Take It Offline

Two coats

Part of Urban Lacquer's CEO Collection

Copper/gold color with a somewhat metallic finish. A glows-from-within type of polish.

Perfect for those who need something work-friendly yet interesting to wear.

Great for layering (like this) or just on it's own.

Gold and blue glitter in a clear base.

The bottle is packed with glitter, enough that it's almost opaque in two coats.

Simplistic in the color concept but very striking.

Urban Lacquer Opposite of Good Collection

Good morning everyone! I am very excited to share Urban Lacquer's Opposite of Good collection. Because while we try to be good most of the time, sometimes it's just fun to be a little bad. And sometimes bad is just BAD lol. Either way, this collection has a wide range of colors and finishes, something for everyone. No problems with application or formula, with one exception but I will make a note under that polish. 

Urban Lacquer Coffee Breath

Two coats layered over Urban Lacquer Take It Offline
A neutral blend of brown, gold, silver, and pale green in a tinted taupe base. It could be worn solo with multiple coats but I wanted to layer it with another of Urban Lacquer's polishes.
Coffee breath = bad. Coffee breath polish? Sparkly goodness! 

Urban Lacquer Illumi-Naughty

Two coats

Dark blue jelly base with silver holo micro-glitter. 

I absolutely adore this polish, it's glossy and sexy. My favorite of the collection. 

Urban Lacquer Baby Cake

Two coats

Hot pink creme/jelly with gold/green color shifting shimmer. 

The name inspiration, well I will let Brenda from Urban Lacquer tell you what the inspiration is from:

"This polish was inspired by a cake I saw online that was in the shape of...a baby. Not a baby-doll-baby, but a for-real-no-kidding-kinda-looks-like-an-actual-human-baby cake. A strange combination of creepy and edible, and definitely the Opposite of Good."

Note about the formula, this is a concentrated polish color so some staining may occur. My nails were stained a bit after wearing this but after some buffing and few days time, they were back to normal.

Linear lavender holographic. The holo effect is prominent, in low light but especially in full sunlight. 

Urban Lacquer Reply All 
Two coats layered over a neon gradient.
Assortment of black and white glitters with some larger white circles.
I have done a unintentional reply all email in the past (Oh the regret that I had!). If only the results had been as good as this.

Urban Lacquer Ab Initio and The Blue

Urban Lacquer Ab Initio

Worn with two coats and with a matte topcoat.

This one seems familiar, but I could not find another similar polish in my stash. Maybe I just have too many polishes and they are all swirling around in my brain. Anyway, I do really like the colors in this one, I think the orange gives it a nice touch. 

Urban Lacquer The Blue

Layered over KBShimmer Ultra Blue

The one is very eye-catching, the aquamarine color pops on the darker blue base. 

Somewhat similar Lynnderella Thank Blue too!
