Anonamaker Collaboration Project Box 3: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! We are going to start out this week with a bang with the Anonamaker Collaboration Project Box #3. What is the Anonamker Project? It's a collab box featuring multiple brands, with polishes inspired by the craziness that can come from the Acetone Alley Facebook group, with a key feature being a anonymous topic submission. It's an....interesting place to be for sure (with a lot of saltiness to be had) but I don't think I could ever quit that place.

This round we have polishes from Great Lakes Lacquer, GlitterDaze, Supermoon Lacquer, Colors by Llarowe, and Ellagee plus a hand painted glass magnet from The Howling Boutique
and a super salty little goodie bag including an Acetone Alley membership card AND a glassy topcoat bottle from Ellagee. In keeping tradition from previous boxes, I am not revealing which polish belongs to which brand (cause Anonamaker is Anon), though if you wanted to see more clues, check out The Polished Hippy's review or Polish and Paws' review. Future editions will feature a different mix of brands.

Pre-order is available from March 1-11 in the Anonamker section of Ellagee's shop. The first 30 boxes will be ready for immediate shipping. All box orders after the first 30 and all individual item orders will begin shipping on or before March 21. Any additional items ordered with pre-order items will all ship at the same time.
The boxed set is $50 plus you can purchase individual bottles.

Anonamaker Go Home Anon, You're Drunk
Two coats
Whisky brown linear holographic with red to copper shimmer
"Cause we all need a drink after that anon nonsense."
That is one good looking brown and this is from a person who doesn't usually like brown polishes. It has that pretty shimmer which adds warmth to the base and is super high density holo. It's jelly finish formula applies really well, needing two coats for coverage.

Anonamaker Rage Flounce
Two coats
Hot magenta holographic with gold flash
"Cause you are better than all of these bitches and you're leaving, so there!"
I fell head-over-heels for this shade. It's bright and that gold flash is everything. Applies oh so well with two coats again for coverage.

Anonamaker Girl, Bye!
Three coats
Purple toned mauve with holographic micro-flakes and purple shimmer
"Wave those glittery hands while you tell Felicia goodbye."
A light and girly pink with loads of that silver holo flake and shimmer. It's not quite opaque with two coats, I needed three thinner style coats for opacity.

Anonamaker It's Apple Pie Mother F#*@&%!
Two coats
Peach nude crelly with warm toned shimmer, scattered holo, and red shifting multi-chrome flakes "Have a seat and enjoy your pie."
Unusual and understated and definitely a favorite for me. I looooove the flakes in this base. The crelly formula is an easy one to apply, two coats here for coverage.

(With Matte Topcoat)

Anonamaker No $h!t, Sherlock
Two coats
Dark inky blue with turquoise/purple and blue/red shifting shimmer, iridescent rainbow micro-flakes, and a scattered holographic finish.
"Inspired by the legendary seat serving and sleuthing skills of the amazing Karl."
Last but certainly not least is this tasty rich looking blue shimmer. It has a slightly thicker style shimmer formula but goes on well with two coats needed for opacity.

The Howling Boutique's Supermoon Lacquer: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Purchased by Me
Hey guys! I have another review for you today. Supermoon Lacquer is a new indie polish brand that came onto the market not too long ago. Mardi, the maker, had actually been creating handmade jewelry in her shop, The Howling Boutique, before she expanded to creating polishes under the name Supermoon Lacquer. I purchased a few of polishes from her debut collection late May and was also provided a couple of polishes later on to review so I am going to bundle everything together in one review.

The first two polishes are new upcoming releases and will either be limited edition or group custom exclusives, available as of tomorrow, July 20th. I will go into my detail below each description. The final three polishes are part of the Ready to Launch Collection and are available right now in Supermoon Lacquer's shop

Supermoon Lacquer It's Taryn Up My Heart
Two coats
Teal green with blue & turquoise shimmer, iridescent rainbow micro-glitters plus scattered holographic finish
This is a limited edition polish for the month of July and part of the "Mentor Project" series that Mardi is beginning. Each polish is inspired by a women who have inspired and supported her and this particular polish is inspired by Taryn of Anchor & Heart Lacquer. It's so nice to read about friendships that inspired goodness and positivity and the color itself is a nice representation of this initial series. It applies well, not too thick and I really like the scattered holo effect.

Supermoon Lacquer Wolf Rayet
Two coats
Dark gray with aqua blue& silver white shimmer, turquoise micro-flakes plus scattered holographic finish
This polish is an exclusive to the THB's Facebook group, The Wolf Pack. You will see it in the shop listings but in order to purchase it you must be a member of the group.
This was a bit thicker in formula, not unmanageable or hard to apply, just something I noticed. Otherwise, it goes on easily and as with the previous polish, the holo effect is more scattered than linear. I am not really a fan of gray polish so this was a not something that appealed to me as much but I do like that it's a more unique group custom.

Supermoon Lacquer Cosmic Dust
Two coats
Red-violet, to magenta, to dark red-orange multi-chrome shimmer
I can't resist this type of color shifting polish, it's like an auto buy type of color. I do wish it was a tad more shifty but it overall a beautiful color. It's somewhat thick but full coverage, needing just two coats.

Supermoon Lacquer Mystic Mountain
Two coats
Green to blue-purple to red multi-chrome
Well this was an unexpected delight! I kind of picked this on a whim but I do really love how it looks on the nail. It does have a more obvious color shift and I love seeing that flash of green against the slate blue. Goes on nicely in two coats.

Supermoon Lacquer Pistol Star
Two coats
Blue to vibrant purple holographic duo-chrome
This one though, it is most definitely my favorite of the three I purchased. A glowing blue is always a good choice and with the added holo, perfection.
