Glam Polish It’s Only A Dream Alice (Partial) Collection

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a new collection from Glam Polish to share with you today. Though this is not my first time wearing Glam Polish, it is my first chance to review the brand. The inspiration for this collection was Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland film series.

While I am not a big fan of the Tim Burton films, I love how bright and fun the colors were, definitely what I would envision with such a colorful source material.  Rachel provided me a partial collection, to view three other shades in the collection, head on over to Kellie Gonzo's review, she has those on her blog.

It's Only a Dream Alice Collection will be available Friday, June 3rd in Glam Polish's shop. They will be priced $11.50 each and Glam Polish does ship worldwide.

Glam Polish A Crazy Mad Wonderful Idea
Two coats
Purple base with violet & bright pink holo, neon pink, and ultra holo glitter plus shimmering glass flecks and holographic pigment
Purple! Holo! Glitter! All that good stuff in one polish. Two coats for coverage, no issues to report with application.

Glam Polish Down That Rabbit Hole
Two coats
Green with green, lime, & silver holo and ultra holographic glitter with shimmering glass flecks and holographic pigment
This is a very bright shade of green with a bit of aqua coloring to it. YUM. Two coats for coverage, no issues to report with application.

Glam Polish I Really Do Love That Hat
Two coats
Coral red with neon pink, silver holo and ultra holographic glitter with shimmering glass flecks and holographic pigment
Coral red, be still my heart. It has a lot going on but as a whole, it's very pretty and very Queen of Hearts.

Glam Polish Liars! Cheats! Falsifiers!
Two coats
Red, white and black holographic micro-glitter with holographic pigment in a clear base
I LOVE this one. It's the most unique of the set for me and I really liked that it was opaque in two coats.

Glam Polish The Best Futterwacken In All Of Witzend
Three coats
Rainbow mix of metallic and neon glitter with holographic pigment in a clear base
Who doesn't love a good rainbow polish? I like how the glitter pieces are all uniformly sized against the silver. For this one I did an extra thin coat for coverage to fill in any patches.

Glam Polish The Wrong Alice
Two coats
Aqua blue with ocean, sky blue, & silver holo, neon blue, and ultra holo glitter with shimmering glass flecks with holographic pigment
A gorgeous aqua blue. Two coats for coverage, and as with the previous ones, no issues with application.

September What's In-die box?: Sex and the City

Hey guys! Today I have a selection of Aussie polishes, all included in September's What's In-die Box? set. What's In-die Box? is a monthly set of polish, all from Australian indie polish makers. Each month has a specific theme and the polishes themselves are created just for the box and may be limited or exclusive editions. The box is priced at about $48, as well as shipping cost from Australia (about $15). While that looks like a big number, it comes out to about $13 a polish, a comparative price to what they are sold for individually in US polish e-tailers.  I had the opportunity to get September Sex and the City themed box and I jumped on it! I have been branching out into Aussie indie polishes, many of which I really like, so this was a perfect way to try out some new and fun colors. The Sex and the City box this month has polishes by  Celestial Cosmetics, Emily de Molly, Glam Polish, Lilypad Lacquer, and Peita's Polish

Celestial Cosmetics I Miss New York
Three coats
Silver foil with silver and red glitter
I like this polish but I wish the base color was a bit less sheer. Otherwise, very pretty and probably something to break out again for the holiday season in December.

Emily de Molly Neutral Agreement
Two coats
Taupe creme with silver holo, gold and bronze glitter.
I love neutral-with-a-twist type polishes so this one definitely is something that appealed to me.

Glam Polish Carrie Me Away!
Two coats
Aqua blue crelly (creme/jelly) with holo microglitter and blue shimmer.
This vivid sparkling blue is wonderful and to me, fits the character of Carrie to perfection.

Lilypad Lacquer City Lights
Two coats
Dark green scattered holo with gold/green micro-flakes.
Very sparkly in full sunlight! Inspired by New York City's massive number of city lights but I am reminded of the city streets more than anything else.

Peita’s Polish Labels or Love
Three coats
Raspberry pink with silver holo and pink glitter
I think this one is my favorite of the set, which surprised me. Normally I shy away from pink polishes but this one so bright and shiny, I love it!

October's What's In-die Box? Theme is Little Box of Horrors which is unfortunately sold out. BUT make sure to check back in October for November's themed box. Since Peita's Polish is the brand hosting this monthly box, look to her Facebook page for updates (as well as information on her own brand).

Llarowe has started a similar concept, this one of US based indie polish brands and details about that can be found here
