Hella Holo Customs - Spook-tember Crows Toes Exclusives (plus Orangeblooded) : Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a few polishes from Crows Toes for today. This set of three are exclusives this month to the Hella Holo Customs Facebook group. To be able to purchase these polishes, you will need to be a member of the Hella Holo Customs group. If you are not already a member, you can join the group here

As for how to purchase these three polishes, they are available now in Crows Toes' shop until September 30th. Remember, if you are not a member of the HHC group, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

Crows Toes Beyond Your Fears
Two coats
Golden orange shimmer base with teal and gold holo micro-glitter and gold/orange shimmer
This is gasp worthy polish. Because that's exactly what I did when I laid eyes on it. Those little bits of teal add a pop of color contrast and the orange is hmmm hmmm good. This formula is definitely a thicker formula, with all that shimmer and glitter, that's not a surprise. It's very opaque as well so when you apply, thin coats will work best.

(Under LED Lighting)

Crows Toes Sleep With One Eye Open
Two coats
Blackened plum linear holographic with orange, gold and silver micro holo-glitter
The glitter colors are perfection in that base, a very darkened, almost black shade of purple. The formula is more fluid, less thick here, and two coats got me the coverage I needed. I love how holo this is too, it has a higher density holographic flame.

(Under LED Lighting)

Crows Toes Your Last Breath
Two coats
Cornflower blue linear holographic with slight pale green and gold micro-flake shimmer
Beautiful! This is a more delicate color compared to the first two bolder shades but just as awesome. The subtle green and gold shimmer are not obvious at first glance but add some complexity to the polish. It applies really well, with just the right formula consistency and like the others, needed two coats for opacity.

(Under LED Lighting)

Crows Toes Orangeblooded
Three coats
*Not a HHC exclusive*
Navy blue jelly base with various orange glitter
This is a re-release of Finnnally, IT'S HOODIE TIME!!, which was originally part of A Box, Indied when it first released. This is the same polish, just released under a new name, which is why I did not have a comparison of it next to the original. It's one of my favorite Crows polishes, and if you did not get the chance to get it the first time, you can get a bottle now in her shop
It has a jelly base, thinned out a bit in color so the orange shines through, so I applied three coats below. You could layer it over a navy blue base but I prefer it worn solo, you lose some of the jelly squishiness when you layer it.

(With Matte Topcoat)

Hella Holo Customs - Chaos & Crocodiles: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a few polishes from Chaos & Crocodiles for today. This set of three are exclusives this month to the Hella Holo Customs Facebook group. To be able to purchase these polishes, you will need to be a member of the Hella Holo Customs group. If you are not already a member, you can join the group here.

Important! If you order the polishes, which are available now in Chaos & Crocodiles' shop (link to the sale page is in the HHC ordering post) until June 30th, and you are not a member of the HHC group, your order will be cancelled and refunded. And when you do order, you should totally include a llama pocket mirror or a narwhal necklace because.....cuteness is always a good excuse.

Chaos & Crocodiles Cosmic Crystal
Two coats
Dark blue purple linear holographic
This color. THIS COLOR. It's so very blurple. And applies perfectly. I don't think I needed to do any clean up before I took my photos, that's how flawlessly it applies. The holo is very high density holo flame.

(LED light to show holo)

Chaos & Crocodiles Narwhals Eat Macarons Too
Two coats
Light aqua linear holographic
Pretty as can be! It's light and fresh and I can see the macaron inspiration. It has a cream based holo formula so while it's a paler color, I did not need more than two coats for coverage. The holo flame is a low to medium one.

(LED light to show holo)

Chaos & Crocodiles Cheshire Rose
Two coats
Red to blue to purple multi-chrome linear holographic
YES. PERFECTION. If you can only buy one polish, this is the one to get. It's so shifty and rich and flat out gorgeous. Application was wonderful, two coats for coverage and that holo, damn, it's bold.

Hella Holo Customs - Crows Toes: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have three new Crows Toes polishes to share with you all today. This set of three are exclusives this month to the Hella Holo Customs Facebook group. I mentioned this group in a previous review last year if you recall. To be able to purchase these polishes, you will need to be a member of the Hella Holo Customs group. If you are not already a member, you can email the admins at this email to join: hellaholocustomercare@gmail.com

As for this trio of Crows Toes, they will be available in Crows Toes' shop until the end of the month (which is just in a few days!). The price shown in the shop is not the actual price, once you join the Hella Holo Customs group, there is a sale post with a discount code, which drop the price to $12.50 for each polish.

Crows Toes Abracadabra
Three coats
A mix of a variety of multi-colored ultra-chrome and taupe flakes plus holographic micro-glitter
I feel like I need to break out a gif of me drooling to show you guys just how much I lust for this polish. It's so sparkly and the combination of all those flakes is magical. Abracadabra indeed. It's somewhat thick so I applied three thin coats for opacity.

(Artificial Lighting)

Crows Toes Hot Headed Red
Two coats
Medium red with magenta/red orange/orange gold multi-chrome shimmer and holographic micro-glitter
Oh yes, love a good fiery red and this has that awesome shift to it, which is more apparent in person. And those holo sparks are like bonus sprinkles on top. This was on the thick side so two thinly applied coats will work best for coverage.

(Artificial Lighting)

Crows Toes Mintally Unstable
Two coats
Pale minty green linear holographic with pink to gold color-shifting shimmer plus violet sparks
Absolutely lovely. It's a dewy looking mint toned green and the pink shimmer is subtle but not hidden. Formula was a bit thinner than Hot Headed Red and you will get full coverage in two to three coats.

Hella Holo Customs Halloween True Blood inspired exclusives from Anonymous Lacquer and Ever After Polish: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! I have a different kind of review for you all today. The six polishes for today's post are from Anonymous Lacquer and Ever After Polish. These two brands created True Blood inspired exclusives for Hella Holo Customs or HHC.

What is Hella Holo Customs? It's a Facebook group in which every month, two featured brands create custom, holographic polishes based on feedback from the group members. It is a "secret" group so in order to join, you can do that a couple of ways. You can join Anonymous Lacquers' Facebook group OR Ever After Polish's Facebook group and there will be an instruction post in each group. You can also email a request to hellaholocustomercare@gmail.com.

So with the inspiration material that is True Blood, I was not surprised to see red or vamp colored holos. Which is a good thing, as I do love red and vampy holo polishes. This was actually my first experience with Anonymous Lacquer and I really liked the polishes I received. Her polishes have a nice formula consistency with high density holo flames. My only critique is that she has a more narrow brush, similar to Essie polish brushes and I have become used to flat, wider brushes, especially with my longer nails. But this did not give me an issue with application, it's just a personal preference of mine. The Ever After Polishes were just as great formula wise and the colors were so pretty. I especially loved Bite Me, a white holo is hard to pull off and I liked that I was able to see a holo flame. Okay, enough talk, let's get to photos:

Anonymous Lacquer Baby Vamp
Three coats
Turquoise blue/green linear holographic

Anonymous Lacquer I Wanna do Real Bad Things With You!
Three coats
Bold ruby red linear holographic

Anonymous Lacquer Vampire Barbie
Two coats
Dark brown toned oxblood linear holographic

Ever After Polish Bite Me
Three coats
White taupe linear holographic with white shimmer

Ever After Polish Devil in a Sunday Dress
Two coats
Deep pink magenta linear holographic with blue and pink flash

Ever After Polish Fangtasia
Two coats
Purple linear holographic with multi-colored ultra-color shifting flakes
