Polished for Days To the Moon and Back Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hellllo! For today, I have Polished for Days' upcoming To the Moon and Back Collection. This six piece set is inspired by the Moonchild Glow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills and you can see how the beautiful highlighter colors translated to this dreamy collection.

The To the Moon and Back Collection will launch Friday March 31st in Polished for Days' shop at 11 am PST. All polishes will be offered at a discounted rate ($1 off each polish) for the first 72 hours of sale.

Polished for Days Alcmene
Two coats
Medium grey base with holo flakes and orange/violet shimmer
Alcmene is Latin for "Might of the moon".
The shimmer in this is a bit more prominent in person, you will see glints of it in the light. Formula is nice and creamy, two coats for coverage.

Polished for Days Atlas
Two coats
Periwinkle holographic with holo flakes and copper shimmer
Atlas is the tiny smooth-surfaced moon of Saturn.
YES. Periwinkle perfection, that's what this is. This has a slightly thicker formula compared to Alcmene but still nice and easy to apply, again two coats for coverage.

Polished for Days Chan
Two coats
Sheer violet base with purple/blue/gold/pink ultra chrome and sterling silver flakes and copper shimmer
Chan is Sanskrit for "Moon".
I absolutely love how the copper shimmer appears in this, especially as a contrast against the sheer violet base. Applies oh so easily, with two coats needed for full opacity.

Polished for Days Hala
Two coats
Silver holographic flake base with fuchsia/gold/copper ultra chrome flakes and pink shimmer
Hala is Arabic for "Moon halo".
Hala is the first of a few silver holos with ultra chrome flakes, this one is the warmer version, with it's warm toned flake combination. Application is great, I was expecting to need at least three coats for opacity but I got away with two. You will see some hint of visible nail line beneath but not enough that I felt the need for more coverage.

Polished for Days Kamaria
Two coats
Silver holographic flake base with gold/copper/green ultra chrome flakes and green/rose shimmer
Kamaria is Swahili for "Beauty of the moon".
Here is the the green/gold dominant version, and though I would normally prefer the warmer colors of Hala but the flashes of green and gold from Kamaria really appealed to me. Same formula notes as Hala.

Polished for Days Mahina
Two coats
Silver holographic flake base with navy/purple/teal ultra chrome flakes and blue/purple shimmer
Mahina is Hawaiian for "Moonlight".
Silvered blue tones going on here and like every polish in the set, you get that wonderful moon-glow inspired look. Application was easy (broken record here) and bonus, only two coats needed for opacity.

Polished for Days Herculina
Two coats
Black linear holographic with copper/pink/gold/purple shimmer and silver holo flakes
That shimmer takes the black polish base to a whole other level, warming it up and adding some flash of color. Easy application experience with two simply applied coats.

Polished for Days Interamnia
Two coats
Silver linear holographic with pink/gold shimmer and violet/gold/pink ultra chrome shifting flakes
I love how the flakes contrast here against the lighter silver base and and the metallic look it has with the shimmer. I wasn't expecting to get away with just two coats for coverage but that's all I needed when I applied.

Polished for Days Nausikaa
Two coats
Berry purple base with copper/gold/pink/purple shimmer and silver holo flakes
Beautiful! The purple base itself is rich and saturated and while the shimmer is more subtle here, it adds some depth. Again, easy application, with only two coats needed for full coverage.

Provided for Review
Hello! Today I get to share Polished for Days' newest collection. These eight polishes are part of her Snow Angels Winter 2016 Collection, a gorgeous winter set that sure to tempt you.

The Snow Angels Winter 2016 Collection will be released December 16th in Polished for Days' shop. at 11 am PST. Polishes will discounted a $1 OFF each for the first 60 hours of sale until December 18th at 11 pm PST. Plus any order over 4 bottles with get upgraded to priority shipping for US buyers.

Polished for Days Akitla
Two coats
Bright aqua creme with violet-orange shimmer, sterling silver and gold flakes plus scattered holo effect
Fresh and lovely, with easy fluid application in two coats. I love the gold and silver metallic accents.

Polished for Days Drifta
Two coats
Dark grey creme with pink & pink-gold shimmer plus pink-purple micro-flakes
That high impact pink/gold shimmer is delicious in the gray.

Polished for Days Haukea
Two coats
White linear holographic with a pink-gold shimmer
White holos are notoriously hard to find and to make. You want to add just enough holo to actually see the holographic flame but if you add too much, you can gray out the color too much. This is not pure white but it's pretty, pretty close and you can see the holo effect, though it is subtle. Slightly thicker in formula and opaque in two coats.

Polished for Days Kayi
Three coats
Clear base with holographic silver micro-glitter plus aqua and navy glitter, copper-green-gold ultra-flakes and blue-purple-red shimmer
A silvery sparkle of a polish, with the blue and aqua that are colorful pops of color. I had a bit of visible nail line with three coats, but not enough to be a bother, you may want to apply a ridge builder base coat.

Polished for Days Lumi
Two coats
Pale blue creme with blue-pink shimmer, blue iridescent flakes, navy-violet ultra-chrome flakes, sterling silver flakes, blue-grey flakes and slate grey flakes plus scattered holo effect
Lots of flakes, which may make you think it would be too much but it's totally not. This feels soft and cozy and just enough of flake bits to make things look good.

Polished for Days Mentlana
Two coats
Darker rose pink linear holographic with bronze micro flakes
This one is my favorite of the set. It's a duskier shade of rose and just so very pretty and sophisticated.

(Under LED Light)

Polished for Days Pyry
Two coats
Deep cornflower blue linear holographic with magenta-green-gold ultra-chrome flakes
That luscious blue and the flashes of color from the flakes make this a terribly nice polish.

Polished for Days Shiya
Two coats
Navy jelly base with violet-orange shimmer, gold sparks, and violet-pink-gold shifting flakes
A darker blue to balance things out and those awesome flakes make their appearance here as well. Next time I will have to wear this with matte topcoat, to show those off even more.
