Rescue Beauty Lounge Random Friday

Happy happy Friday ya'll! Anyone who purchased from my blog sale, all packages will be in the mail tomorrow. I do have lots left and if you wanted to take a look, click here. Today I have a few Rescue Beauty Lounge polishes to share. I like the many Rescue Beauty polishes that I own, I can usually trust that the formula in them are pretty dang awesome.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Become Me
Two coats
Grass green creme
Soooo creamy, it glides on. It leans a little more yellow than my photo shows.

Rescue Beauty Lounge NailsandNoms
Two coats
Creamsicle orange with pink shimmer throughout.
I thought I would fall in love with this because well, it's orange, but it just fell short, I can't say why exactly.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Poppy
Two coats
Fire engine red with slight gold shimmer.
Beautiful red! I love red polish and can see myself wearing this one often.

Rescue Beauty Lounge Scrangie 2.0
Two coats
I don't even know how to describe this color but if I had to I would say bronze with blue, bronze, and gold shimmer. It doesn't even look bronze in my photo, since the finish foil-like, the light reflects and gives it a somewhat olive color.

Rescue Beauty Lounge products can be purchased in her web-shop here. Updates can be found on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

December Blog Sale Update!

Blog sale page has been updated, woo hoo!
Click here to go directly to it.

Lacquistry So I'll Propose on Halloween and Witching Hour

Hello readers! How's humpday treating you? I have been prepping my next blog sale so that will post shortly. In the meantime, here are two Lacquistry polishes from her Halloween 2013 collection. Lacquistry polishes can be purchased from her Etsy shop here and updates can be found on her Facebook page here

Lacquistry So I'll Propose on Halloween
Layered over Sally Hansen Drama Sheen
Orange and violet glitter in a clear base
LOVE this combo of colors and the how this paired with the Sally Hansen polish. The orange hearts are a nice touch. I seriously didn't want to take this off.

Lacquistry Witching Hour
Layered over American Apparel Palm Springs
Orange, cyan and navy blue glitter in a clear base.
While I liked this one, it wasn't quite the win for me as the previous one. Maybe it was the choice of base color.

Elevation Polish Llarowe Exclusives

Hello everyone! I have a new trio of Elevation Polishes to share today. These three are Llarowe exclusives and are only available here. It looks like they are all out of stock at the moment but don't despair, they will be restocked again soon! Also, make sure to keep on eye on Elevation Polish's blog, Lulu is going to be running fan appreciation giveaways this month, giveaway #1 has concluded with a winner announced and giveaway #2 is now open

Elevation Polish Arabian Sea 2
Two coats
Seafoam aqua creme with gold flakes and gold and blue micro-shimmer
So. very. pretty! One of my favorite color combinations of aqua (or mint) with gold.
Compared to Arabian Sea, which was a limited edition Small Batch Prototype, this is a little bit lighter in color. If I have a chance, I will post a comparison of them together.

Elevation Polish Hovd Darkness
Two coats
Dark purple crelly (creme/jelly)
Like a deep dark void in the belly of a ice mountain. Okay maybe a bit more prose than needed....
For those who love purple jelly polishes but hate having to apply 4 coats for full coverage. Hovd Darkness' formula allows for two coats and you're done, perfect to wear by itself or for layering.

Elevation Polish Night Ice Glow
Two coats
Dark teal jelly with glacier and ice blue circles and hexes and slight sliver micro-shimmer.
I love the circles (of course) and the look of this makes me think of icy night-time arctic waters, with specks of ice illuminating the murky depths.

To purchase any of Elevation Polish's regular line, look to Elevation Polish's shop. Make sure to check out Elevation's blog and Instagram for updates. Llarowe carries select Elevation Polish's as well and those can be found here, which includes these three new exclusives.
