Hare Polish Thurday

MOAR Hare Polish for today. These few are just random offerings by Hare, not technically a part of a specific collection but instead part of her Jackalopes line.

Hare Polish For Margot Tenenbaum
Three coats
Mint jelly base with varied gold glitter
LOVE this. The color, the inspiration. Just everything about it. And it gives me an excuse to break out the Margot walking toward Richie gif:

Hare Polish Gee, Thanks Grandma
Two coats
Chocolate brown jelly/creme base with copper, red, and neon pink glitter
Part of the A Very Kitschy Christmas duo that was originally released in December '13
I, for one, would actually like a sweater in this coloring. The sweater my own grandma knitted for me was...interesting. Neon yellow knit sweater-vest is not something anyone should wear lol.

Hare Polish Perfect Storm
Two coats
Navy blue jelly base with fuschia, neon pink, and gold glitter
This IS the perfect storm of dark and moody with the spark of vivid color.

Hare Polish Phat Tuesday
Three coats
Grape purple jelly with lime and gold glitter
Included in the A Box, Indied! for the month of March and carried by Llarowe
You can see the Mardi Gras colors but with Hare's unique touch

Updates regarding Hare Polish can be found on her blog, Facebook page, and Instagram.

Hare Polish Welcome to Twin Peaks: Winter 2013 Collection

Hey guys! I have been sitting on this post for weeks now and as I have about 29(!!) unpublished posts, this is going up today. I very rarely buy a entire collection of polish, mostly because I can be fickle and purge ruthlessly later anyway but when I saw this collection preview on Hare's blog, I knew that I would be buying each and every one of them. NO REGRETS. I don't remember Twin Peaks quite as fondly as Nikole from Hare does, mostly cause when it was out, I was kid and it scared the daylights out of me. BUT I do see so much of the where the inspiration for this collection comes from in the colors and that always makes me happy. I applied three thin coats in each photo below and no issues with application.

Hare Polish Damn Fine Coffee
Dark brown jelly with red and gold micro-flakes and gold iridescent hexes.
I can wholeheartedly appreciate a cup of damn fine coffee.

Hare Polish Flesh World
Pale yellow jelly with gold, black, and pink glitter

Hare Polish The Knockouts of the Double R
Aqua blue jelly with varied soft white glitter

Hare Polish The Owls Are Not What They Seem
Soft brown jelly with gold, white and brown glitter
WHOOOOO goes there?!

Hare Polish The Red Room
Red jelly base with black and white glitter

Hare Polish Wrapped in Plastic
Pale pale blue/gray jelly with white, aqua, and iridescent gold glitter
My favorite of the collection! It's delicate but with it's subtle twist.

Pahlish April Duo: Budding Bromance featuring Elevation Polish

Happy Friday y'all! I have a new duo from two amazing ladies, Shannon and Lulu from Pahlish and Elevation Polish. Their personal friendship has evolved into a bromance of sorts (their words not mine lol) and we, their customers, have been able to enjoy their creative minds at work with multiple collaborations. For Pahlish's duo anniversary this month, they came up with the Budding Bromance Duo and it will be available during Pahlish's restocks throughout this month. This duo will only be available through Pahlish's store along with most previously released duos from the last year. And since we are on the topic of bromances:

Troy and Abed!
They have a morning show...

and go by their own rhythm...

and have their own handshake....

and they hug, cause bros ain't ashamed of that!

Pahlish Romance
Two coats
Light gray creme with copper, blue and green micro-shimmer
So very pretty and light. I love the shimmer in it, it's something that I have to come to expect from Pahlish and it always adds depth. Perfect creme formula as well.

Elevation Polish Bromance
Layered over Pahlish Romance
Clear based topper with white and gray glitter, red/green color shifting flakes, and a touch of holographic pigment.
Layered together this duo is stunning. I wish I could have captured the red/green flakes well but my I don't do it quite justice.

Budding Bromance Duo from Pahlish and Elevation Polish will be available tonight in Pahlish's Big Cartel shop. Remember Elevation Polish will not be selling this duo, April is her vacation month.

30 Day Challenge: Day One: Creme Polish

Hello! My friend Dani from Dani's Manis came up with 30 day Nail Art Challenge. I have not done a nail challenge before, mostly because nail art is just not my strength. BUT since I contributed a bit to challenge ideas and also because I want to support my friend, I am gonna do this one! If you are on Instagram, use the hashtag #getnailedwithdani as well as follow my profile and Dani's profile.

Elevation Polish Sample LSA #2 and Sample XXH #5
Challenge for Day #1 is a easy one. I am one of those that refuses to pick an singular favorite color. I just can't, there are way too many polishes that I 100% love. So I went with two of my favorite creme polishes from one of my favorite polish brands, Elevation Polish.
