Pahlish Midsummer Bonfires Collection

Hey everyone! More Pahlish for you today, this time I have their Midsummer Bonfires Collection. This is a 5 polish collection with a nice range of bright and soft colors. Formula is exceptional, I mention this with every Pahlish collection review but it's something I do notice when I swatch, I never have a problem with application. You can purchase the full collection in as a set (with a bit of a discount) or each individually in their shop.

Pahlish Foolish Fire
Two coats
Neon coral creme with blue and gold shimmer.
SO GOOD. Bright and bold, just how I like my polish!

Pahlish Ghost Lights
Two coats
Turquoise creme with blue and turquoise flake shimmer.
On the opposite end of the color spectrum from Foolish Fire and just as awesome.

Pahlish Midsummer Skies
Three coats
Light sky blue with copper and turquoise flakes.
Such wonderful contrast with flakes in the pale blue base.
This makes me think of sitting on blanket and napping under the blue summer skies.

Pahlish Rose Canina
Two coats
Pale coral pink creme with gold shimmer and turquoise glitter.
Such wonderful color contrast with bright turquoise in the pale base.

Pahlish Will-o-the-Wisp
Threecoats
Lavender creme with lavender, gold, and taupe flake shimmer.
Subtle and delicate and so so pretty.

Pahlish July 2014 Brightly Burning Duo

Hello! I have a number of Pahlish posts to share with you all for the next few days and to start off, I wanted to show off this month's Pahlish duo. The very fiery Brightly Burning Duo is inspired by the bonfires that are burned for midsummer celebrations around the globe. I love the color red so this was unsurprisingly a hit with me and the glitter topper contrasts so well. Very easy application too. This duo is available now but only until the end of the month, get it while you can!

Pahlish Bonnefrye
Two coats
Cherry red creme with red shimmer

Pahlish Wakefrye
Layered over Pahlish Bonnefrye
Clear based topper with silver, gunmetal, and black glitter in varied shapes and charcoal flake shimmer.

Fanchromatic Nails Monday

Hey everyone! Today I have a few polishes from Fanchromatic Nails, which a new-to-me brand. I love to see brands that are inspired by something they love, in the case of Fanchromatic, many items draw inspiration from the "geeky goodness". I had no problems with application or formula, everything applied smoothly. The latter two items shown here are currently available, along many other awesome polishes, in Fanchromatic Nails' Etsy shop. Hoochy Coochy Show will be released this Wednesday, July 16th, as well as a number of others.

Fanchromatic Nails Hoochy Coochy Show
Layered over American Apparel Hassid
Clear based topper with a rainbow of holo glitter and violet and blue shimmer.
Inspired by the show Carnivale, this is very much a BAM-in-your-face type of polish! I tested this on a number of base colors and it was just gorgeous over each one but I decided to swatch it over black, with that strong shimmer, you can appreciate it to it's fullest.

Fanchromatic Nails Rules of Acquisition
Two coats
Green/blue shimmer with gold tones.
Inspired by the Ferengi people of Star Trek and the color of nail polish that they wear.
I have never been a Star Trek fan (sorry!) so I don't have any connection toward the inspiration BUT I don't have to in order to appreciate this lovely polish. I like that it has a very metallic finish to it and if you have some matte top coat, you should apply that for a more wow factor. Sadly, my bottle of matte top coat was down to the little bit when it came time for me to swatch this polish.

Fanchromatic Nails Save the Princess
Three coats
Deep blue jelly base with varied silver and gold glitter
Inspired by Star Wars, specially from A New Hope.
Another instance in which I am not really a part of the Star Wars fandom (sorry! again!) but the polish itself is so pretty, it's my favorite of the three. I love the depth you get from the glitter in the blue jelly base. You can layer it but I like the effect of it by itself.

Fanchromatic Nails can be purchased from her Etsy store. Updates can be found on her Facebook page and Instagram.
