Polish My Life Bare Undies Trio: Swatches and Review

Blogger Discount
Hey guys! I have Polish My Life's Bare Undies Trio to share with you today. These three polishes may not look super exciting to some but for me, finding such awesome polishes to use as a base for nail art is definitely something to be excited for. I have loved each Polish My Life polish I have purchased so far and the three here are wonderful additions to my collection.

The Bare Undies Trio is available now in Polish My Life's shop (and priced very nicely). You can buy the trio together or individually.

Polish My Life Birthday Suit
Three coats
Pale ivory creme
I love this shade of color. It's nice for a base with it's softened pale coloring or just to wear alone.

Polish My Life Commando
Two coats
Black creme
So so shiny! This is with topcoat but even without topcoat you can see the obvious shine to the polish. And while this is a beautiful black, it did need two coats for complete coverage so it doesn't replace my long favorited black polish. I am still going to be going back to Commando though, you can never have enough black nail polish.

Polish My Life Stripped
Two coats
White creme
I was more impressed by this white creme than anything else. I love how stark and crisp the white is and that I needed just two coats for coverage. Formula is awesome, it self levels well and doesn't streak too much on the first coat.

Hare Polish Trust No One. Suspect Everyone. from April's A Box, Indied + Name Unavailable: Trademarked: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello ! I have a couple of new Hare Polishes to share with you today.

Trust No One. Suspect Everyone. will be part of A Box, Indied for April. The theme for April is a April Fools and will include other polishes from Serum No. 5, Black Cat Lacquer, and the previously posted Crows Toes and Pahlish. As with previous months, the box will be available only through Llarowe on March 26th, you can follow their Facebook page for more info.

Name Unavailable: Trademarked is a new Hare Polish and is inspired by Better Call Saul. This polish is not currently available in Hare's Etsy shop but it will be restocked soon.

Hare Polish Trust No One. Suspect Everyone.
Three coats
Softened neon green jelly with pale aqua glitter, gold micro-flakes, and blue irridescent shimmer.
Oh. M. G. This is just what I needed and I didn't even know! It's radioactive green color is mellowed but the gold and pale aqua glitter/flakes, making it a pretty but unusual polish to wear for spring (or anytime really). I did not any issues with application though you will need to apply three to four coats to get full opacity. I applied three coats and you can see a hint of my nail line.

Hare Polish Name Unavailable: Trademarked
Two coats
Dusky periwinkle blue creme with metallic silver flakies
I love how simple this polish but how much visual impact it makes. The silver is bold in the creamy blue base. Easy application, just two coats needed for coverage.

Illyrian Polish Eerie Woodlands Collection Part One: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a newer indie brand to share with you today. Illryian Polish is the brainchild of Vanessa, who is also known as @mrslochness on Instagram. If you aren't following her already, get on that! Her photos are always drool worthy and when I saw that she was launching her own brand, I was very excited! Her debut release in November (2014) yielded some seriously pretty colors and 2015 brought her Eerie Woodlands Collection Part One.

This collection consists of four shimmer finish polishes, though I am missing Hallucinatory, that can be seen here. I was impressed by the three that I did receive. The polish formula for each one was very nice and all three applied easily, not too thick or thin in consistency. I like how different each polish was from the other but when they are place together, they compliment each other nicely. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this brand and hope you will decide to check her out!

The Eerie Woodlands Collection Part One will be restocked tonight at 7 pm CST in Illyian Polish's shop.

Illyrian Polish Sinister Haze
Three coats
Cool toned off white creme/jelly with copper and red shimmer and holo pigment
This one was a surprise hit for me. I can be very selective with this time of color so I did not expect to like as much as I did! The shimmer is subtle but definitely visible and I like the added holo sparkle.

Illyrian Polish Fabled
Two coats
Magenta purple jelly with turquoise & green shimmer and violet and purple/green micro-flakes
A gorgeous color, very bright and eye-catching. The shimmer is perfect in this, though I will admit a weakness for blue/green shimmer in a purple base.

Illyrian Polish Dead Fairies
Two coats
Black jelly linear holographic with purple shimmer & violet and green micro-flakes.
I like that you get that heavy shimmer which gives the black a purple tint. I wish I had a chance to take this polish's photo in the sun, because I am sure it would have looked amazing that way. Alas, no sun. I would call this a medium density holo though, for those who have a preference on their holo polishes.
