Silly Bee's Chickadees Island in the Son Trio

Hey all! I have a new trio from Silly Bee's Chickadees to show you guys today. The Island in the Son Trio is a set of three fruity colors with matching gold dot glitter accents. I loved the juicy and summery colors! And the gold dots are a lovely touch. The inspiration for this set comes from the tropical fruit grown in Jamaica and Melly's personal experiences there. And the best part of purchasing this trio? 100% of sales will go to funding lunch sales for hundreds of children during Melly's return trip in July. So buy some pretty polishes and help feed some kids!

Pahlish June 2014 Vincent and the Doctor Duo

Happy Monday everyone! I have Pahlish's June 2014 Duo for you all today. This duo is inspired by a very special episode of Doctor Who, Vincent and the Doctor. You know, the one that will melt the coldest of hearts and make you bawl like a baby. Pahlish wanted to create a deconstructed duo of polishes based on the painting Starry Starry Night and I gotta say, she did an outstanding job. The colors are fresh and you can definitely see the inspiration. Easy formula and application as well. This duo will be restocked throughout the month of June so get it while you can!

Pahlish Fields of Provence
Two coats
Cornflower blue creme with gold and charcoal flakes
My oh my, will you look at this color?! It's so very rich looking. Highly pigmented yet you can still see the flake detailing.

Pahlish Brighter Than Sunflowers
Layered over Pahlish Fields of Provence
Clear based topper of gold, periwinkle, navy, and neon yellow varied glitter.
Wonderful accompaniment to Fields of Provence.

To purchase any of the polishes shown today, look to Pahlish's Big Cartel shop, and Facebook page, Blog, or Instagram for updates. Other stockists of Pahlish are Llarowe and Edgy Polish.

Elevation Polish The Sea Collection and Yeti's Oceanside Vacation

Hey everyone! I know I won't be able to post for the next couple of days so y'all get a rare Sunday post, specifically of Elevation Polish's The Sea Collection. This collection is full of cool toned polishes all inspired by the beauty of worldwide seas. This month also includes a reformulation of a highly sought after SBP, The Med. And as if that wasn't enough, there is also limited edition for June, Yeti's Oceanside Vacation. On to swatches!

Elevation Polish Bohai Sea
Two coats
Bright ocean blue medium density holographic
Mmmm, right out of the gate, an awesome gorgeous blue holo. You could get away with one coat but my habit is use two so that's what I did.

Elevation Polish Weddell Sea
Two coats
Off white creme with white and silver shimmer and light holo density
I LOVE Elevation Polish's white polishes. Each one is never just a plain white but with a little extra thrown in. This one is going to be streaky with the first coat but self levels easily with a second coat. The holo effect is not the spotlight but an added dimension. I did include a direct sunlight photo though.

Elevation Polish Ceram Sea
Two coats
Green leaning turquoise creme
Lulu is the mother flipping BOSS when it comes to creme polishes and I am so glad to have one in this color.

Elevation Polish Thracian Sea
Two coats
Slate gray creme with purple undertones
More creme perfection, be still my heart. As I am with pink, I can be very picky about gray polishes, I don't usually like them. But of course, Elevation can create a gray that I adore.

Elevation Polish The Med 2
Two coats
Teal with green and color shifting gold/green shimmer
The Med created a lot of hype and I know fans were clamoring to have it make a come back. While I don't have the original to compare to, I can tell you that this is not a pure blue but teal which is going to to be the major difference. The shimmer is just outstanding.

Elevation Polish Yeti's Oceanside Vacation
Layered over Elevation Polish Weddell Sea
Clear based topper of teal, periwinkle, pale blue, off white, taupe varied glitter.
Yeti has been hiding away lately and we learn it's because he has been enjoying himself ocean-side. Beautiful oceanic glitter topper! I can practically hear the waves and seagulls chirping.
I applied Yeti's Oceanside Vacation over a few polishes to give you some different looks.

Elevation Polish Yeti's Oceanside Vacation
Layered over Elevation Polish Pic de Sotllo
My personal favorite pairing.

This collection will be released on June 7th at 9pm in Elevation Polish's shop. Make sure to check out Elevation's blog and Instagram for updates. Llarowe carries select Elevation Polish's as well and those can be found here
