Cirque Colors + Nike Woman for Nordstrom's Pop-In: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have a few polishes from Cirque Colors to share with you guys today. Cirque Colors is participating in Nordstrom's monthly Pop-In for the second time and this month they are collaborating with Nike Woman. Inspired by Nike Woman's bright colors, textures, and patterns, Cirque is re-introducing some of the limited edition shimmers as well as some of their bright and light cremes

Formula notes, no issues whatsoever. The cremes applied very smoothly with just two coats and the shimmers do need three coats for opacity but are not too thick.

These will be available at Nordstrom stores (listed at the end of the post) and at Nordstrom.com until May 24th. For other polishes from Cirque Colors, check out their website.

Cirque Colors Doyers
Two coats
Cherry red creme
It's a surprise to probably no one that my favorite of the three cremes is this stunning red. It's cool toned and very saturated.

Cirque Colors Sunset Park
Two coats
Coral creme
A creamy looking polish that would be great to wear in the spring and summer.

Cirque Colors Vigo
Two coats
Orchid pink creme
Bright and the kind of pink that even a non-pink lover would want to wear. (says the former pink polish hater)

Cirque Colors Coronation
Three coats
Royal purple jelly base with red to copper color-shifting shimmer and scattered holographic pigment
So. Freaking. GORGEOUS. A polish you must wear to fully appreciate.

Cirque Colors Dear Dahlia
Three coats
Fuschia jelly base with green to gold color-shifting shimmer and scattered holo pigment
I love to see green in pink shimmer and this is just so striking.

Cirque Colors Thicker Than Water
Three coats
Turquoise jelly base with gold to green color-shifting shimmer and scattered holographic pigment
A beautiful aquatic color. The shimmer is so hard to capture in this one but you can see how it sparkles in the sun.

Different Dimension 80's Baby All Grown Up Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey y'all! I have more bright polishes to share with you tonight. In addition to the Back to the 70's Collection that I posted yesterday, Different Dimension will also be releasing her 80's Baby All Grown Up Collection this Friday. This collection is a reformulation of the previously released 80's Baby Collection, released about two years ago, hence the "All Grown Up". Chalkboard Nails has photos of the original 2013 collection if you wanted to compare though just a quick glance can show you that this updated collection is much brighter and bolder in color.

The polishes in this collection are holo counterparts to the neon creme polishes in the Back to the 70s Collection. Similar colors but with the added holo pigment that makes them sparkle in the sun. You maaaay not need both collections unless you are a neon/bright polish hoarder (and I know that there are plenty of you out there!). Application wise, these are a breeze, needing just two coats for coverage. The holo itself is more scattered then a bold linear flame, which is not unexpected with the creme neon formula.

The 80's Baby All Grown Up Collection (along with the Back to the 70's Collection) will be released this Friday at 8 pm CST in Different Dimension's shop.

Pahlish Cannonball April 2015 Duo: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey guys! I have Pahlish's Cannonball April 2015 Duo to share with you. With this month's duo, it's been about two years now that Pahlish has been releasing monthly duo sets. I look forward every month to seeing what will be released so I am happy to see that this polish series is continuing.

The Cannonball April 2015 Duo is available now in Pahlish's shop but April is almost over so grab it while you can!

Pahlish What a Beautiful World
Three coats
Lavender creme with soft white and pink/violet micro-flakes
I love Pahlish's purples, they do them so well! The flakes add a twist to the color base. Nice application, I ended up applying three coats, mostly because I didn't want any patches for photos, you could get away with two coats though.

Pahlish What a Terrible World
Layered over What a Beautiful World
Clear base with holographic pigment, metallic multi-chrome flakes in pink, blue, and purple and iridescent glitter.
It takes the lovely purple creme base and makes it POP with the holo pigment and chrome flakes. This is one coat over the base, you get a nice amount of flakes with that coat. More than that and I feel like you will start to lose the base color a bit but if flakes are your thing, that may be what you're going for.

Different Dimension Back to the 70s Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have some new colors from Different Dimension to share with you guys. This five piece set is the Back to the 70s Collection, all brightly colored cremes with subtle shimmer. I love the look of these but then brights are a major weakness of mine. Formula for these were good, somewhat on the thin side but no application issues. Missi (from Different Dimension) will also be releasing another 5 polish neon set but more on that tomorrow.

Different Dimension Back to the 70s Collection will be releasing this Friday, May 1st at 8 pm CST, in Different Dimension's shop.

Different Dimension Boogie
Three coats
Neon lime green creme with on tone shimmer
Fffffffudge this is BRIGHT. Just how I like 'em!

Different Dimension Dream On
Two coats
Bright magenta purple creme with silver shimmer
You can see the shimmer most prominently in the purple.

Different Dimension Far Out
Three coats
Azure blue creme with on tone shimmer
Not as eye-searingly bright as the yellow or green but man oh man it's a gorgeous shade of blue.

Different Dimension Psyche
Three coats
Neon fluorescent yellow creme with silver shimmer
You want that traffic stopper yellow? Look no further. Streaky with the first two coats but that third coat gets you that full, self leveled coverage.

Different Dimension Right On
Two coats
Bright neon pink creme with silver shimmer
Absolutely perfect shade of pink!
