Elevation Polish The Leaves and.....GIVEAWAY!!

Good afternoon! The winner for the Chaos & Crocs giveaway was picked and notified and my Pahlish giveaway is running until midnight tonight to enter that if you haven't already

OH I AM SO EXCITED FOR TODAY'S POST! When I opened my package containing The Leaves, this was totally my reaction:

I think you guys know that I love Elevation Polish, considering just how many Elevation Polish posts I have published within the last year. Lulu, the creative force behind Elevation, consistently surprises me and slays me all at once with every new collection release. Her polish's formulas are hands down some of the very best in the indie polish world. So yeah, there HAD to be a Elevation Polish for my 1 year blogiversary!

If you were interested in purchasing some Elevation Polishes for yourself, look to her Big Cartel shop which she restocks on the 7th (at 9 PM CST) and 22nd (at 9 AM CST) of every month. A selection of Elevations can be purchased through Llarowe. Updates can be found on Elevation's blog. This October there will not be a regular restock scheduled, instead her 2nd Annual October Charity Event is going to happen. Details are forthcoming but so far we know that there will be Sales (Buy It Now) and Auction sections, including a full set of every Elevation Polish Lulu has released, totaling to about a 100 bottles!

Elevation Polish The Leaves
Two coats
Very pale gold with super strong holographic pigment.
The color is almost a champagne gold but a bit paler and cooler. And the holo is as strong as can be.
To quote a friend: ASDJANSDKAJSDNKSDJNSKDJSAKDJSNAD.....I cannot quite tell just how much I adore this polish.

Friday Spam: Sation Edition

Happy Friday everyone! The winner of the Chaos & Crocs giveaway has been picked and notified and my Pahlish Blogiversary giveaway is running until midnight Sunday (CST) so make sure to enter that if you haven't yet

Today I have a few Sation polishes to show you all. One of my local nail suppliers carries this brand in store so I always end with a couple in my basket. I really love how varied the color selection is for this brand. I tend to go for the cremes and jellies but they have some great glitters to pick from. If you were interested in getting some Sation polishes, you can purchase directly from  their webshop as well as Transdesign. I have seen Sation at T.J.Maxx and Marshalls but I don't know how often they are stocked there.

Sation It's All Navy Baby

Sation Loudest Color
Blindingly bright, so much love for this one.

Sation Miss Emo Shun All

Sation AbbacaDazzle

Sation Super Nail-Tural Powers
Very similar to Miss Emo Shun All but this one more blue and the other more purple.

Sation Lollipop! Goes the Princess

Sation Shady Daze

Sation Say No to Candy

Sation Single in Stilettos

Sation gradient
Not a very good gradient but hopefully next time I will execute it better.
I used Single in Stilettos, You Butter Tell Me, and Skater Dater.

Femme Fatale Thursday

Hello! I have a few Femme Fatales for your Thursday viewing pleasure. A couple of them are older swatches from months ago and the most recent one is Pools of Vision. Femme Fatale has become a Aussie indie polish favorite of mine. Her polishes are mostly glitter in colored bases, which I like, and are unique, many times like nothing else in my collection.

Femme Fatale Sweet Surprise
Three coats
Light pink creme with pink, purple, orange, and yellow glitter.
Sweet and delicate.

Femme Fatale Mana Ruby
Three coats
Cherry red jelly with red and irridescent glitter.
Similar to Hare Atolla but this is more red than pink.

Femme Fatale Nightsong Grotto
Two coats
Ocean blue jelly with blue, pink, and lime glitter.
I was impatient and didn't wait long enough between coats, hence the bald spots, don't be like me lol.
I love the big blue dots!

Femme Fatale Cloudburst
Two coats
Light gray/blue with black, white, purple, and pink squares and gold shimmer.
Ethereal and so lovely.

Femme Fatale Burning Blossom
Orange creme with two kinds of neon pink and black glitter.
Yum! I love how creamy this looks and the little black specks for contrast.

Femme Fatale Lime Thief
Two coats
Bright green crelly (creme/jelly) with neon red, blue, and green glitter.
It's as if I dipped my hands into rainbow sherbet. Bright and fun!

Femme Fatale Pools of Vision
Two coats
White creme with a blue tint and matte white & gray, neon green, and blue glitter.
The most subtle of this set of Femme Fatale's but just as good.

Femme Fatale Cosmetics can be purchased directly within her shop, as well as through Color4Nails, Harlow and Co, and coming soon to Rainbow Connection and Ninja Polish. Check her Facebook page for updates.

Ozotic 505 and 506

Good morning! I have a short and sweet post for you all today. Ozotic 505 and 506 are both multichromes, very similar to each other, the main difference being that 505 shifts to teal from purple/blue, and 506 shifts from cyan to purple. Both are super pretty with a strong color shift. If I had to pick only one, I would lean more toward 505, that teal/green gives it an extra something something. These are somewhat sheer formulas, as is usual with this type of polish. You could apply multiple layers for opaque coverage but the color-shift is stronger and needs less coats if layered over a dark color. I applied two coats of each polish over black in the photos below.

As for today, it's time for some pure Pahlish wonderfulness....

Oh Pahlish, where do I start? They were one of my first indie polish purchases way back in April '12 and since then, have tempted me over and over (and over) with their polish creations. Many impulse buys have been made but never any regrets. And I am always happy when I see a Pahlish package waiting in my mailbox. So of course I had to have a Pahlish giveaway for my one year blogiversary!

If you wanted to add on to your Pahlish collection or make your first Pahlish purchase, check out their Big Cartel shop as well as  Llarowe and Edgy Polish. Updates on restocks, new colors, etc can be found on Pahlish's Facebook page and new blog.

Pahlish Grape Crush
Two coats
Violet creme with charcoal flakes and blue flash shimmer
OH YES, this one sings for me.
The violet is such a vivid color and the charcoal flakes and blue flash just make me go........*drool*.

Pahlish Lighting Bolts Glowing
Two coats
Warm gray creme with blue/green color shifting microflakes and a bit of gold shimmer.
Very different from Grape Crush and just as awesome. I love how the blue/green microflakes stand out.

These two polishes make me want to do a little happy dance....

Chaos & Crocodiles Paint the Sky
Two coats layered over a Sation orange

And there is this one. But let's go back a bit. When I approached Sarey from Chaos & Crocs with my custom request, I knew that whatever she was going to create was going to be amazing. And it sooo was. Essence of Ida in a bottle basically. The name though, it had to be just right. After going back and forth, nothing quite fit. I was messing around in my music library and started playing Oh! You Pretty Things, one of my favorite Bowie songs, and it clicked.

Illustration by Nan Lawson, her stuff is wonderful
Chaos & Crocodiles Oh! You Pretty Thing
Two coats layered over Wet n Wild Teal Slowly and See
Glitter mix of yellow, blue, purple and red.
An explosion of beautiful bright glitter!
The colors play so well against each other and the layering options are endless. I love it and I hope you guys do too!
