Hellllo! It's been a long week but we finally got to Friday afternoon and what better way to close the work week with a fun tropical drink inspired duo collaboration by Firecracker Lacquer and Girly Bits.

The Drinks on the Beach Duo will be available to purchase during a 7 day pre-order window starting August 6th. You can buy the duo sets from both Firecracker Lacquer's shop and Girly Bits Cosmetics' shop.  

The duo will retail for $20 USD and $26.50 CAD (this price subject to change based on the exchange rate on August 6th) and if you purchase any other items, those will held to be shipped with the pre-ordered duo. 

Firecracker Lacquer (Tequila) Sunrise, Sunset

Three coats

Orange crelly with gold fleck and subtle reddish pink shimmer

I am most definitiely craving a tequila sunrise right now and how nice would it have this bright and juicy looking orange on my nails as I sip. I like the gold and pink toned shimmer flecks. It's a little sheerish so I built it up with three coats. I especially love how this looked with the matte topcoat (fourth photo below).

Girly Bits Brain Freeze

Three coats

Cornflower blue crelly with holographic pigment and various pink glitter

This is such a perfect summer polish. It's a fun color combination with the blue and pink and the added holo is an extra oomph of sparkle. I didn't want to have any dragging with I applied so I did three thin coats for coverage and while there is a ton of glitter, you probably will want to apply a double layer of topcoat to get a smooth finish.

Darling Diva Polish & Firecracker Lacquer LE Get In My Mouth Collaboration Duo: Swatches and Review

Hi everyone! I have a new collaborative duo for you today. These two polishes make up the Get In My Mouth Duo featuring Darling Diva Polish and Firecracker Lacquer. First of all, the name cracks me up, I love how the sassy humor of these two ladies totally comes out here. As for the polishes themselves, they are perfect as a Thanksgiving inspired set. 

The Get In My Mouth Duo is a limited edition set, there will only be 10 sets available in each brand's shop. Look for these in both Darling Diva Polish's shop as well as Firecracker Lacquer's shop on Friday, November 6th at 8 pm EST. 

Firecracker Lacquer Stuff That Turkey

Three coats

Taupe brown with copper flake shimmer and holographic pigment. 

The color is hard to pin down, it has silvered overtone to it that gives it a metallic look. It's a bit on the sheer side so I applied three coats for coverage but no issue with application. The holo flame has a medium to high density.

Clear based topper of green/gold/copper ulta-chrome flakes and gold to green color-shifting pigment

So freaking gorgeous! I love the warmth that the topper gives to the cooler toned Stuff That Turkey. Very easy application and coverage amount in one coat.

Darling Diva Polish & Firecracker Lacquer LE Late Nights in Vegas Duo: Swatches and Review

Hey everyone! I am excited to share with you a new collaboration between Darling Diva Polish and Firecracker Lacquer. I have known Carrie from Darling Diva for a while but I just recently met Kendahl from Firecracker Lacquer while I was attending the Cosmo Prof convention in Las Vegas in July. She is so fun and outgoing! Carrie is as well for that matter. And there was one night, after one of the social events we attended, in which the open bar was flowing, with a cute bartender (whose name was Beau) mixing his signatures drinks, that some crazy good times were had. This duo was inspired by that late night (and others) in Vegas. 

The Late Nights in Vegas Duo will be available in both Darling Diva Polish's shop and Firecracker Lacquer's shop Friday September 18th. I don't have a specific time for release so follow Darling Diva Polish's and Firecracker Lacquer's Facebook pages for that. The duo will be priced at $25 (with shipping) and there will be very limited quantities in each shop.  

Firecracker Lacquer Purple Sticky Punch

Two coats
Dusty fuchsia pink creme with dark purple micro-flakes shimmer and holographic pigment
A beautiful shade of purple pink. It's a little thick so I would recommend waiting a few minutes between coats. This does dry to a matte suede finish which looks very cool if you want to wear it by itself but of course layering and topcoat will give you shine if that's your preference.

Darling Diva Polish Beau Job

Layered over Firecracker Lacquer Purple Sticky Punch

Clear base topper of blue to violet color shifting shimmer and ultra-chrome flakes and holographic micro-glitter and pigment

PERFECTION. I swatched this duo early on and then kept it on for the rest of day and found myself repeatedly staring at my nails. Each polish is amazing separately but together they are magical. I applied two coats of the Darling Diva topper to get his coverage and one layer of topcoat. I did notice later in the day that the topcoat dried down into the polish, so a second layer of topcoat may be best for a smooth finish.
