Glisten & Glow Cocktails Anyone? Collection Round One (Partial): Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey all! I have a few polishes from Glisten & Glow to share with you today. These four are a part of her The Cocktails Anyone? Collection, a continuous series of holo polishes based on cocktail drinks.
The first four from Round One were posted here and here are the eight polishes from Round Two

Application for these are was easy, I had very little "clean up" to do, always a good sign. They each have a very strong linear holo flame, which is very nice to see under direct light. Formula wise, they do have a thinner formula, I needed to do three coats for each one to get complete coverage. And make sure to apply a "sticky" style base coat, since they are a thinner style holo, Girly Bits Stick With Me is one I like. The colors themselves are really nice, on the lighter end of the color spectrum.

Round One of the Cocktails Anyone? Collection is available now in Glisten & Glow's shop.

Illyrian Polish The Coven Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey all! I have new collection from Illyrian Polish to share with you tonight. This five piece collection is inspired by a favorite film of Vanessa's, The Craft. The witchcraft inspiration is very visible and the colors are complex and so very pretty. Since they are all so different from each other, I will make note of each one's application below it's desciption.

The Coven Collection will be released this Friday, October 2nd at 6 pm CST in Illyrian Polish's shop

Illyrian Polish Why Are You Still Bleeding?
Three coats
Blood red creme/jelly
I will never tire of this sort of vampy, deep red color. And since it's has a crelly formula, you get a lot of shine with the finish. I did two coats and still had some visible nail line, so I applied another light third coat and that gave me complete coverage.

Illyrian Polish As Above...So Below
Two coats
Dark murky green jelly with orange & copper holographic glitter and copper shimmer
GAH. This polish! I think this ended up being my favorite of the collection. Those glitter are just beautiful in the dark green base. This will dry down to a gritty texture finish, because of all that glitter, so double up your topcoat.

Illyrian Polish Invoking the Spirit
Three coats
Grey tinted linear holographic with gold iridescent flakes and orange shimmer
Although this has a gray jelly base, it has a whole lot of shimmer and flakes, giving it a more pewter look to me. It's is on the sheer side but I got complete coverage with three coats. And it has a nice medium density holo flame.

Illyrian Polish Ours is the Magic
Three coats
Navy blue jelly with purple shimmer and iridescent glitter as well as silver holo flakes & glitter
I looooove those silver flakes. And the purple shimmer, which is more apparent in person than in photos. This would be perfect for some sort of galaxy nail art (mental note to myself for that!). It's a tad thicker than any of other polishes but I didn't have any issue with application. Three coats for coverage and a generous layer of topcoat (or two) and you're done.

Illyrian Polish We Are the Weirdos, Mister
Two coats
Dark grape purple linear holo with copper/red/orange ultra-chrome flakes
Last but certainitly not least, this purple stunner. It was more opaque than I was expecting, always a win. It has a lower density linear holo flame and sparkles so well in the sun.

Different Dimension Fall 2015 Falling in Love Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey all! I have more Different Dimension polishes to share with you today. These eight make up her upcoming Fall 2015 Falling in Love Collection. The polishes in this collection are primarily linear holographic polishes, rather than the holo micro-glitter polishes that are in the Anomalous-Phenomenon Collection I shared yesterday

Application and formula for these were wonderful. So opaque! I needed only two coats for each one for complete coverage. There are a few that you could even apply just one coat if you were feeling saucy. Very nice formula consistency and fluid-ness.  And they have a mostly medium to high linear holo flame. Not a lot more to say in terms, except that if you are looking for darker, more "fall" appropriate holo polishes, then you will not want to miss these.

The Fall 2015 Falling in Love Collection will be released Friday October 2nd at 9 pm EST in Different Dimension's shop. Each polish will be priced at $12 each and there will be a special discount if you purchase the full set.

Different Dimension You Light Up My Life

This one was probably my favorite of the collection. It's so versatile! And it has a lot of coverage with one coat over your base. I have it shown over two darker colors here for you.
