Scofflaw Nail Varnish Fall/Autumn 2015 Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! I have Scofflaw Nail Varnish's Autumn 2015 Collection to share with you today. This is a large collection, consisting of 11 polishes, including a duo. Each polish is so unique and has the very cool mix of colors and shimmers, as well as the awesome names and labels, that I have come to expect from Scofflaw. I won't go into too much in my intro, just scroll downward to see all the pretty.

The Autumn 2015 Collection will be available this Thursday, September 17th, at 8 pm CST in Scofflaw Nail Varnish's shop

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Fluffy Battle Bunny
Three coats
Light periwinkle creme/jelly blue, pink, and turquoise glitter and teal shimmer
Fluffy and pretty, just like a little bunny. Until it goes crazy. This is not nearly as killer but it has a splash of color with the glitter that give it some pop. Thinner formula so three coats worked best.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Furiosa
Two coats
Dark slate-blue shimmer base with gunmetal and silver flecks/flakes
I don't know about you but I loved the character Furiosa from Mad Max: Fury Road. Epitome of a bad-ass. And this polish is a great representation of her. Dark and gorgeous with some streaks of silver. Easy application with two coats.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Goldstone
Two coats
Warm burnt orange with gold flakes and shimmer
Is a fall collection truly complete without a shade of rusty/burnt orange? Maaaaybe but it's better if it does include one. Goldstone is a great addition. It has a generous golden shimmer that gives the orange a lot of warmth.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Indifferent Cats in Amateur Porn
Three coats
Pastel yellow-lime creme/jelly with violet, pale green, chartreuse, apple green glitter and violet-chartreuse shimmer
What was I saying about unique color combinations? This one is a great example of that. Scofflaw does that magic that she does so well and takes a shade of pale yellow/lime and then adds such an interesting mix of glitter and shimmer and viola, a polish you can't help but love. Oh and if you were wondering where the name inspiration came from, just Google the name but fair warning, sex and indifferent cats are what you will be seeing so very NSFW.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Krokodil
Three coats
Dusky light sage green polish with gunmetal, turquoise, and teal glitter
A drug no one should be ingesting. But the color inspiration gives us this lovely sage green with purple accents. As with the other glitter crellies in this collection, the formula is on the thinner side so three coats worked best for complete coverage.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Rockford Peaches
Three coats
Pink-peach creme/jelly with holo red, copper, and peach glitter and peach shimmer
SO MUCH LOVE. A League of Their Own was a long time favorite of mine, so I was happy to see polish inspiration from it. The result is the gorgeous warm peachy pink with all that warm toned glitter. It looked more like a nude on me because of my skin tone and the summer light.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Sea Wolf
Three coats
Turquoise creme/jelly with navy glitter and green shimmer
This color, so freaking beautiful! It feels like a summer polish but I like that it's included in this collection. It gives the buyers a chance to get something bright as we ease away from the summer season. Three coats and a generous layer of topcoat and you're done.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Wrath of Julia Child
Two coats
Dark eggplant base with silver and blue shimmer
Another darker, shimmery polish, this time in a cool toned eggplant purple. It's shimmer heavy which gives it a lot of depth but it doesn't over power the base color. Great application, needing two coats only.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish étoiles d'eau salée
Three coats
Very pale grey polish with lavender and pink holo micro-glitter and violet shimmer
One of my favorites of the collection. The holo glitter sparkles in both low and direct lighting. And the pale gray color may look different depending on the wearer's skin tone and lighting. It has a slightly blue tone on me but it looks more silver/gray on my friend Jenny (Lavish Layerings).

(Direct Sunlight)

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Amoeba Jam
Two coats
Taupe nude creme with a delicate shimmer
This duo is only available as a set.
I gave away the title of favorite too soon because this duo is my favorite of the collection. Amoeba Jam is the base and it's an understated warm taupe creme with the subtle shimmer. Perfect application with two coats.

Scofflaw Nail Varnish Tardigrade Candy
Layered over Amoeba Jam
This duo is only available as a set.
Glitter topper of black, orange, pink, plum, and neon red glitter
Triangle glitter! Oh yeah. Tardigrade Candy is such a fun mix of glitter. It compliments Amoeba Jam really well and as for coverage, that's one coat over the base, with just a little fishing by me to add triangles on each nail.

  1. I love all of these, and I love your swatches! I can't wait until tomorrow to place my order. The duo (Amoeba Jam & Tardigrade Candy) is my fave out of the collection.
