Pahlish Matters of Consequence Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have Pahlish's newest collection to share with you all today. The Matters of Consequence Collection is a set of seven polishes, inspired by one of Shannon's favorite books, The Little Prince. This is fall collection, so you will see some darker colors as well as a few bright ones that draw on the literary inspiration.

The Matters of Consequence Collection will launch this Sunday, September 6th, at 7 pm CST in Pahlish's shop

Pahlish Asteroid B-612
Two coats
Smoky plum linear holographic with taupe shimmer
I love the smoky plum color and it's high density holo flame.

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Coquettish Creature
Two coats
Dark purple taupe cream with color-shifting red/violet flakes
Another dusky purple but in a completely different finish. Those flakes pop against the base and color-shift in the light.

Pahlish Draw Me A Sheep
Three coats
White creme with violet-blue shimmer and platinum flakes
I love Pahlish's whites. They usually have some sort of detailing to give visual interest and this one is no different. Thinner formula and since it is white, you will need three coats for complete coverage.

Pahlish Drawing Number One
Two coats
Dark caramel brown jelly with gold, copper, and ultra-chrome copper flakes
I think a theme among the indie fall collection is creating a beautiful brown polish. This falls (lol sorry for the pun) into that category. It may apply patchy for the first coat but that second coat will give you complete coverage.

Pahlish Laughter Of The Stars
Two coats
Sea-foam creme with holographic pigment
The color and soft holo give an ethereal look to this polish. With it's creme based formula, expect a lower density holo flame. I neglected to take a sun shot though (for shame Ida!). I expected to need three coats but two careful coats gave me coverage with an ever so slight visible nail line.

Pahlish Little Baobabs
Two coats
Olive green holographic with scattered ultra-chrome flakes
Very rich shade of dark olive green and those flakes give it depth. Medium density holo flame as well.

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Radiation Of The Sands
Two coats
Goldenrod yellow creme with gold and copper flakes
Oh yes, this is why I love fall collections. For other seasonal collections, this sort of mustard yellow would be out of place but it very much fits into this season. The flakes and shimmer detailing add that extra goodness. Easy application as well.
