Bliss Polish Mayhem, Cheers, Two Years & Soirée: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Heellllo! I have another post for you today from Bliss Polish. I have the chance to me Yvette, the maker behind Bliss Polish, while I was in Las Vegas for Cosmo Prof in July. She is so cheerful and nice and I absolutely loved meeting her. I received these three polishes while I was in Las Vegas and finally have the chance to share them with you.

To purchase from Bliss Polish, visit her shop here. She will be restocking her shop on Monday, November 2nd, so if you see something out of stock, it will likely be restocked then.

Bliss Polish Mayhem
Two coats
Black linear holographic
A black holo is a staple in my opinion. Bliss Polish's version is nice and dark and not grayed out by the holo pigment. It applies really well, needing just two coats for coverage and has a medium holo flame.

Bliss Polish Cheers, Two Years
Three coats
Pale gray crelly with holographic micro-glitter and pigment
This one is not available any longer, as it was part of the limited edition Two Year Anniversary Trio. It's is a very pretty light gray and the holo pigment and glitter add that wonderful bit of sparkle. It's a little on the sheer side so three coats worked best for complete coverage.

Bliss Polish Soirée
Layered over Bliss Polish Cheers Two Years
Clear base glitter topper of various black, white, silver and fuchsia glitter
This one is not available any longer, as it was part of the limited edition Two Year Anniversary Trio. I love the pop of fuchsia with the monochromatic black/white/silver. Good fluidity and coverage, I have it worn as one coat over the base.

Girly Bits Hocus Pocus Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! Let's start out the day with some polishes from Girly Bits. These seven polishes are a part of her recently released Hocus Pocus Collection, inspired by the classic 90's film, Hocus Pocus, which starred these three lovely ladies:

So many memories for me, watching this as a kid of the 90's. Lots of nostalgic feelings when I put this post together with the fun gifs! As for the collection itself, it's a very color cohesive set. I was really blown away by how well each polish's formula and application performed.

The Hocus Pocus Collection is available now in Girly Bits shop

Girly Bits Amok! Amok! Amok!
Two coats
Dark amethyst purple linear holographic with slight blue to purple shift shimmer
Really nice consistency and an awesome purple holo to boot. No sun shots unfortunately, it's been raining quite a bit where I am these last couple of weeks.

Girly Bits Dead Man's Toe
Two coats
Khaki green creme with pink to gold shimmer
The shimmer is subtle yes but also just prominent enough to catch in the light and adds some warmth the cool green base. Great formula and application, needing just two coats.

Girly Bits Goodbye-bye
Two coats
Khaki green creme
This is just tad darker than Dead Man's Toe. Those of you who like your cremes straight, this is a great creme polish, with it's wonderful formula and nice and easy application.

Girly Bits Yabos
Two coats
Smoky purple creme
Another deliciously shiny creme (with topcoat of course)! This is a bit thinner in formula than Goodbye-bye, so depending on how thick you apply your polish, you could do two coats or three if you prefer thinner coats.

Girly Bits I am Calm!
Two coats
Dark burgundy jelly with red to gold shimmer
Peeeeeerfection. It's just the sort of shade I wear in the fall. The color is dark and gorgeous and it applies flawlessly.

Girly Bits On Toast!
Two coats
Charcoal navy blue linear holographic with violet flakes
At first glance you think it's a standard dark gray holo but it's so much more. It has a blue overtone to it and the violet flakes are a great addition that does not conflict with the medium to high density holo flame. Again, no sun shot but be assured that it is quite holographic.

Girly Bits Witch, I'm Fabulous!
Three coats
Clear base with ultra-chrome pink, purple, blue and gold flakes and chartreuse, purple and gold holo micro-glitter plus gold and violet shimmer
My absolute favorite of the collection! It's like a glitter and flake explosion of awesome. You could layer it over black or purple or build to opacity, which is what I did. I have it shown with three coats, with a just a bit of nail gap at my tips but otherwise, complete coverage.

Great Lakes Lacquer November LE's Freer Sand & Thanksgiving Bay:Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi all! I have a couple of new monthly limited edition polishes from Great Lakes Lacquer to share with you today. These will be available starting October 31st at 3 pm EST until December 1st in Great Lakes Lacquer's shop

Great Lakes Lacquer Freer Sand
Two coats
Holographic gold micro-glitter
I love that the color is reminescent of sand. I love that's a full coverage micro-glitter. I needed only two coats for complete coverage. My bottle was on the thick side, though Mariah plans to thin it a bit before the shop release. If you do prefer a thinner formula, a few drops of polish thinner will help.

Great Lakes Lacquer Thanksgiving Bay
Three coats
Mid-tone aqua blue crelly with blue/green color shifting shimmer
A really beautiful shade of blue and when the light catches that shimmer, it's wonderful. I applied two coats and had a light patch or two so I added one more light coat for coverage.

Digital Nails Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I ended up taking a longer break than I initially planned. But I didn't want to have a longer lapse with my blog posts so I am back today with some awesome polishes from Digital Nails.
All the polishes shown here today are recently released polishes and they are all available right now in Digital Nails' shop!

Digital Nails Give Peas a Chance
Three coats
Green jelly base with gold micro-glitter and various green circles
Part of the Scientist Pun series
I love that the circles are on the smaller size than the super large ones out there. You could layer but I prefer to build coats so I can have that shiny jelly finish. Inspired by Gregor Mendel's contributions within the field of genetics, and more specifically his experiments with pea plants

Digital Nails Cousteau's My Bro
Two coats
Ultramarine blue jelly base with various blue holographic glitter
Part of the Scientist Pun series
So. gosh. darn. BLUE. Which of course, makes it perfect as a polish inspired by the aquatic explorer Jacques Cousteau. Really nice coverage and opaque in two coats.

Digital Nails Plancks a Lot
Three coats
A steel gray with red and copper and silver micro-glitter
Part of the Scientist Pun series
This is a very dense glitter bomb! And I am sure I missed a color in my description because yeah, a lot going on. It's on the thick side, so I would just say give yourself a few minutes before applying coats. I applied two coats and very light third to cover any patches and that's it. You will want to double up your topcoat coverage, as glitter bombs like this will absorb that topcoat. Inspired by Max Planck's and his work with quantum physics

Digital Nails Double Helix
Two coats
Rose pink linear holographic with pink micro-flakes
Part of the Scientist Pun series
What a gorgeous shade of pink. I love just how rosy it is. It had a nice medium to high linear flame and applies very nicely with two coats. Inspired by Rosalind Franklin and her significant work on the discovery of DNA

Digital Nails Red Dwarf
Three coats
Magenta pink micro-glitter in a clear base
I love the Space Glitter polishes, they make me want to glitter all the things. This color is especially great. If you want to take things to the next level (and I know you do), you should wear this layered over Double Helix and watch your camera go crazy. I applied three coats which was a good amount of coverage. Again, since it's a glitter bomb polish, you will likely want to add that 2nd coat of topcoat.

Digital Nails Crush Leaves, Not Dreams
Layered over Cuccio Colors Prince I've Been Gone
Clear based flake topper of orange to gold/green flakes and violet to blue color shifting pigment.
This polish is September's monthly polish and it's one of my favorites of the post. It looks AMAZING over black but I wanted to wear it over another color so I chose a dark teal green for my base which compliment the flakes well. Nice amount of coverage with one coat over the colored base.

Digital Nails Echolocation
Layered over Cuccio Colors Kingky
Clear based topper of various black glitter, including bat shaped glitter, and holographic pigment
This polish is October's monthly polish. You could wear it over so many different base colors, the options are endless. I decided to go for a vampire theme so I wore it over a deep red. The larger bat glitter are fun touch and Raphaelle includes a little bag of loose bat glitter if you want some extra battiness.
