Lollipop Posse Lacquer June LE And The Tree Was Happy: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have a new limited edition polish from Lollipop Posse Lacquer for today. And The Tree Was Happy is part of the ongoing monthly limited edition series that Lollipop Posse has recently started offering. This polish will be available from June 1st until June 30th in Lollipop Posse Lacquer's shop

Lollipop Posse Lacquer And The Tree Was Happy
Two coats
Vibrant green crelly with copper micro-glitter and shimmer
Inspired by Shel Silverstein's The Giving Tree, which gave me a little spark of nostalgia. Shel Silverstein is one of my favorite childhood authors and The Giving Tree is such a perfect book. I love how the vibrancy of the book translated to this beautiful green with it's gorgeous shimmer. This is tow coats of coverage, though I had a hint of my visible nail below, if that is something that bothers you, a thin third coat is all you need.

Matte Topcoat!
(How amazing does this look with the matte?)

Glam Polish It’s Only A Dream Alice (Partial) Collection

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a new collection from Glam Polish to share with you today. Though this is not my first time wearing Glam Polish, it is my first chance to review the brand. The inspiration for this collection was Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland film series.

While I am not a big fan of the Tim Burton films, I love how bright and fun the colors were, definitely what I would envision with such a colorful source material.  Rachel provided me a partial collection, to view three other shades in the collection, head on over to Kellie Gonzo's review, she has those on her blog.

It's Only a Dream Alice Collection will be available Friday, June 3rd in Glam Polish's shop. They will be priced $11.50 each and Glam Polish does ship worldwide.

Glam Polish A Crazy Mad Wonderful Idea
Two coats
Purple base with violet & bright pink holo, neon pink, and ultra holo glitter plus shimmering glass flecks and holographic pigment
Purple! Holo! Glitter! All that good stuff in one polish. Two coats for coverage, no issues to report with application.

Glam Polish Down That Rabbit Hole
Two coats
Green with green, lime, & silver holo and ultra holographic glitter with shimmering glass flecks and holographic pigment
This is a very bright shade of green with a bit of aqua coloring to it. YUM. Two coats for coverage, no issues to report with application.

Glam Polish I Really Do Love That Hat
Two coats
Coral red with neon pink, silver holo and ultra holographic glitter with shimmering glass flecks and holographic pigment
Coral red, be still my heart. It has a lot going on but as a whole, it's very pretty and very Queen of Hearts.

Glam Polish Liars! Cheats! Falsifiers!
Two coats
Red, white and black holographic micro-glitter with holographic pigment in a clear base
I LOVE this one. It's the most unique of the set for me and I really liked that it was opaque in two coats.

Glam Polish The Best Futterwacken In All Of Witzend
Three coats
Rainbow mix of metallic and neon glitter with holographic pigment in a clear base
Who doesn't love a good rainbow polish? I like how the glitter pieces are all uniformly sized against the silver. For this one I did an extra thin coat for coverage to fill in any patches.

Glam Polish The Wrong Alice
Two coats
Aqua blue with ocean, sky blue, & silver holo, neon blue, and ultra holo glitter with shimmering glass flecks with holographic pigment
A gorgeous aqua blue. Two coats for coverage, and as with the previous ones, no issues with application.

Girly Bits Cosmetics Razzle Dazzle 2.0: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey guys! I have another quick post for you today. When Pam of Girly Bits Cosmetics sent her recently released Sweet Nothings Collection, she also included a bottle of Razzle Dazzle 2.0, so here is my review of that particular polish. It was originally released in 2011, as part of the inaugural Sea's the Day Collection and is now back in as an updated release.

To purchase Razzle Dazzle 2.0, just head on over to Girly Bits' shop, it's in stock right now!

Girly Bits Razzle Dazzle 2.0
Three coats
Fuchsia jelly base with raspberry multi-colored scattered holographic glitter
DAMN. This is exactly the sort of glitter polish I love the most. It has a ton of sparkle and with the holo pigment and glitter, you see flashes of deep purple, gold, silver. It applies well, I applied three coats over a ridge builder base coat and got full coverage. Make sure to apply a generous layer of topcoat (or two) and for easy removal, I recommend first applying a layer of a peel off base coat.

Great Lakes Lacquer June LE's: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! For today I have a few new polishes from Great Lakes Lacquer. These three are the monthly limited edition offerings for the month of June. They are loosely based on Pantone's Colors of the Year, which are Rose Quartz and Serenity, as well as a song that shares the name of one of them. They will be released June 1st at 3 pm EST in Great Lakes Lacquer's shop and be available until July 2nd.

Great Lakes Lacquer A Place Where I Can Hide
Two coats
Light pink creme with pink/copper/gold color-shifting shimmer and holographic pigment
Such a pretty pink! I love the subtle violet tone of it. Easy to apply. It has a thinner formula but with two thicker coats I had enough coverage.

Great Lakes Lacquer I Need Serenity
Two coats
Medium blue leaning periwinkle creme with pinkish copper shimmer
Simply wonderful. The shimmer is flat out stunning the base color and is more visible in person than my photos suggest.

(artificial lighting)

Great Lakes Lacquer Taste The Serenity
Two coats
Light periwinkle with pinkish copper shimmer and a light linear holographic affect
While I really love the previous polish, this may be my favorite of the three. The combination of the copper shimmer and holo pigment give it a very dreamy quality. Applies well, same thinner formula as the previous two.

Watermarble Nail Art!
I wanted to see how well these three would marble, since they have a fluid thinner formula. They spread in the water, though not as quickly as I wanted but I did get enough rings to do a loose design.

Paint All the Nails Presents: Dotticures

Purchased by Me
Hello! It's time for another monthly Paint All the Nails link up with my fellow Paint All the Nails bloggers. This month we voted on a Dotticure theme, which is open to interpretation.

You all must know by now how much I love to do dotted manicures! It's a very easy method to do nail art and I love how there are so many options or way to create a simple or complex design.
I decided to re-create one of my favorite dotticures I had posted on my Instagram over a year ago and which has been re-created by a few times by others on Instagram, including Kelli Marissa.

I started with a blank white base (Pretty Serious Absence) and using my trusty dotting tool and a rainbow of colors, I did the rainbow dot design. I am going to let you in on a secret.....I did not use a single other colored polish besides the white base. Normally I do like to use polishes for dotting but I was short on time so I used acrylic paint for the dots. Acrylic paint will dry more quickly and does not get as thick as polish can get. I can apply the dots precisely and then apply topcoat much sooner without worrying about my design dragging or messing up.

Matte topcoat! Because of course it needs matte.

Rainbow colors make me happy. I don't wear rainbow colors as much in my coloring or in my home decor but on my nails? I can be as rainbow bright as my heart desires!

I love seeing what other creative looks the other bloggers have come up with and you should check those out too! Click on the links below to see what they have created.

Different Dimension Mythical & Magical Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey all! I have some new things from Different Dimension to share today in the form of the upcoming Mythical & Magical Collection. Named and inspired by some of Missi's favorite magical mythical creatures. If you love Different Dimension's cuticle oil pens, she will also be releasing a few new scents so make sure to check out the cuticle oil section when you shop.

The Mythical & Magical Collection will be released Friday May 27th at 9 pm EST in Different Dimension's shop.

Ponicorniphin, the crelly of the collection, will be specially priced at just $5! The other polishes from the set will be $12 each and if you purchase the full collection, there will be a discounted price.

Different Dimension Ponicorniphin
Three coats
White crelly base with multi-colored glitter and shimmer
Missi creates such fun crelly glitter polishes and I really enjoyed this one. It was thinner in consistency which I liked, it gave me more control with application and I applied three coats for coverage. And you can't beat the $5 price.

(artificial lighting)

Different Dimension Dragon
Two coats
Taupe linear holographic with copper shimmer
I felt like this was the most unique color of the collection. I love that shimmer in the taupe base. Applies very well with two thin coats.

(artificial lighting)

(LED lighting)

Different Dimension Fairy
Two coats
Light lavender linear holographic with violet/blue color-shifting shimmer
I like how the shimmer gives the polish a speckled look. Like fairy dust! Okay, yeah, I know too on the nose lol. A tad thick in formula but otherwise easy application.

(artificial lighting)

(LED lighting)

Different Dimension Lochness Monster
Two coats
Chartreuse linear holographic with gold shimmer
I am totally digging this lighter toned green. The added shimmer give it a bit of a gold cast. Two easy coats for coverage.

(artificial lighting)

(LED lighting)

Different Dimension Mermaid
Two coats
Light blue linear holographic with green shimmer
This is practically begging to be worn in some sort of mermaid nail art look. *note to self* Application was about the same as Fairy.

(artificial lighting)

(LED lighting)

Different Dimension Pegasus
Two coats
Baby pink linear holographic with blue shimmer
Does anyone else immediately picture Pegasus from the Disney film Hercules? That may just be me....Anywoo, this is a pretty, slightly dusky baby pink and the blue shimmer is subtle but adds some complexity.

(artificial lighting)

(LED lighting)

Different Dimension Troll
Two coats
Light yellow linear holographic with gold shimmer
I love this color! It's very pale which I think makes me more wearable and while trolls are not creatures I would like to chill with, I will definitely take this inspired polish as a consolation.

(artificial lighting)

(LED lighting)

Different Dimension Unicorn
Two coats
Silver linear holographic with purple shimmer and micro-glitter
I saved the best for last! Or this just happened to be last alphabetically. Semantics. The polish is gorgeous. I can't resist metallic looking silver polishes, with its holo flame and extra sparkle, this is the star of the collection in my opinion
