Hi everyone! For today I have polishes from Polish My Life. Her Naughty Nauticals Collection is a six piece collection of jelly/creme hybrid polishes all tied into a nautical theme.
Formula Notes:
The formula for these are crelly in nature, by that I mean they are not straight up jelly based polishes but are more sheer than a creme based polish would be. I applied each one over a ridge builder (which provides a little more of an opaque base) and three coats for each polish. If you have shorter nails, with less visible nail line, then you may be able to get away with two coats. If you apply very thin coats as a habit, you may find that you need up to four coats for coverage (especially if you have longer nails).
All that said about the opacity, I do love how the formula performs. It is fluid but not too watery and I did not have an issue with polish pooling in my cuticles. Also, because of the crelly-ness, they have a nice shiny finish, though I do apply topcoat. I also love the variation of the colors in the set. You get a couple of lighter toned colors combined with a few other brighter ones and they all play well off of each other. Buoyant & Bouncy and These Beaches are Bold! are my favorites, I loved how vibrant those are.
