Crows Toes Finnnally, IT'S HOODIE TIME!! from September's A Box, Indied

Hey everyone! Today I have a new polish from Crows Toes to show y'all. Finnnally, IT'S HOODIE TIME!! will be included in September's A Box, Indied. A Box, Indied is a monthly box that is sold through Llarowe. Each month has a central theme and will include 5 polishes or nail products from 11 rotating indie brands. For the month of August, the theme is Fall into Autumn, and I know that polishes from Contrary Polish and Jindie Nails will be included but more should be revealed soon. Wonderful! It's a polish that definitely gets in the mood for fall. I love how the orange glows in the dark blue base. And I especially like the color reference, Lauri (Crows Toes) was inspired by her Syracuse hoodie that she pulls out every fall.

Hmmmm, YES. You NEED to matte this polish. 

The orange glows just a bit more brightly and the blue base is that much bolder.

Crows Toes Huginn & Muninn vs Nubar Peacock Feathers

 Hey guys! I have something a little different for you all today. Nubar Peacock Feathers came into my possession not too long ago and after wearing it, I thought that it was very similar to a Crows Toes polish from her most recent 9 Realms collection, Huginn & Muninn. In fact, once I put them on together, it's hard to tell the difference between the two. Since Peacock Feathers is a long discontinued and hard to find polish, I thought I would post that comparison here.

What did I tell you? Can you tell which polish is which? The only difference is that the Nubar is a bit more opaque, I needed only two coats for full coverage and I needed three coats for Huginn & Muninn. Otherwise, both have that awesome shift and deep base and do not need to be layered over another color. If you have been hunting for Nubar Peacock Feathers, then Huginn & Muninn is a perfect replacement.

Elevation Polish The Italian Collection

Hey everyone! I am so excited to show you guys Elevation Polish's newest collection. The Italian Collection will be released during the 7th of the month restock (9 pm CST) and it has a fantastic mix of creme, glitter, holos in a range of pretty colors. There is a limited edition polish as well that will be available this month, that is shown further in the post. 

Elevation Polish Antelao

A cool toned purple, almost indigo in certain lighting. I love each of Elevation's cremes and this a great addition to my collection, as the formula is perfect. 

Elevation Polish Antelao Comparison

I wanted to compare Antelao with a couple other Elevation purples. Elevation Polish has released a number of purple polishes but I am only comparing Antelao against the straight cremes, Hovd Darkness and Pic du Gar. Hovd Darkness is darker and more red toned, Antelao looks very blue compared to it. Pic du Gar is obvious in it's difference of Antelao, it's brighter and again, more red in coloring.

A darker, moody version of the original Marmolada. No fishing for the larger glitters but it is a little thick so thin coats are best.

Another comparison, this time Storms of Marmolada against the original Marmolada. The glitter is each polish is mostly the same, though Storms has more glitter throughout. The formula for the original Marmolada is more thin and blue, whereas the base color for Storms is completely different and more thick.

What a gorgeous and rich color! It is just shy of being a hot neon pink but not quite there. Still, a very bright and fresh color. The holo effect is not super bold but it adds some depth and sparkle to the polish.

How can I even properly tell you how amazing this polish is?? It is absolutely stunning in real life, I don't think my photos quite capture how beautiful it is, though I really try. Gold is a tricky color to put out, it can go brassy very quickly and it's not a color that everyone can pull off or even like. But I think that since Tre Cime di Lavaredo is more pale in coloring, it will be complimentary on a variety of skin tones. I highly recommend putting this in you cart when doing your Elevation order.

Elevation Polish Con Tanto Affetto, Yeti

Clear based topper of black, white, ice blue, glacier, and teal glitter and added holo pigment.

Oh Yeti! You have returned for August, and with much affection. I love to see black and white polishes and the glitter in this is dreamy. I especially like the dash of holo, it's enough to give the polish interest without being overpowering. 

As with previous Yeti inspired polish, Con Tanto Affetto, Yeti is a limited edition for the month of August.

Though you lose the holo somewhat when layering over a lighter color, I feel like this pairing is seriously pretty. Get this! And then do this!

Chaos & Crocodiles Bluebeary from Dazzled Holo Grail July Box

Good afternoon! Though the day is almost gone, I wanted to sneak a post in before Monday is behind us. Today I have a Chaos & Crocodiles polish to share. Bluebeary was an exclusive Chaos & Crocs polish that was included in Dazzled's Holo Grail Box from the month of July, along with polishes from Too Fancy Lacquer, Aly's Dream Polish, and Philly Loves Lacquer. All polishes are holographic finishes (hence the box name) and follow a theme and for the month of July the theme was video games. 

Bluebeary is inspired by the character Bluebear from Animal Crossing. I don't really know the reference all that well, BUT the polish itself is a gorgeous one so that isn't a big thing for me. The holo flame was bold and linear and the formula applied like a dream. This polish is not available for purchase now, since it was an exclusive to Dazzled's July Holo Grail Box but I will be sharing Chaos & Crocodiles' Secret Agent Collection very soon. The Holo Grail Box for September is on sale on in Dazzled's shop and does ship worldwide.
