Pretty Serious Thursday

Hey guys! I have a few Pretty Serious polishes to share today. I picked these up months ago when they had a sale going on. I am always impressed by Pretty Serious' brand, especially when it comes to ease of ordering directly from their shop, and of course the colors are awesome. 

Pretty Serious Elm Street

Three coats

Dark red jelly base with red and green bar glitter and gold hexes. 

Originally released in a Halloween inspired collection, but to me, the combination of colors shout Christmas. 

Pretty Serious Hell on Wheels

Two coats

Cherry red creme

Yup, totally love this one. Red polish is a weakness for me and this is such an great rich red. Perfect formula wise as well. 

Pretty Serious Rae's Rainbow

Three coats

Blue jelly base with tiny blue glitter and a rainbow of glitter hexes. 

Created for a wonderful cause and very fun and playful. 

Pretty Serious The Pink One

Two coats

Hot pink with blue shimmer

Hot damn, will you look at that! This polish is so eye-searingly bright that I can't help but be in awe of it.

Orly Summer 2014 Baked Collection

Hey guys! How about another summer collection for you all? This time I have Orly's Summer '14 Baked Collection. For me, this is one of the better summer collections from the mainstream brands, the neon polishes are actually neon bright and there is also a good mix of shimmers to add some interest. The only one I did not buy was Lush, this lime green with bar glitter, because I can be picky with bar glitter polishes.

Did I neeeeeed another purple creme? Nope. But I fall for them every time. 

Orly Tropical Pop

Another super bright color and I like that it's not a straight yellow or orange but more a mango colored neon.

Orly Ablaze

Neon orange with gold shimmer

Pretty much IN LOVE with this polish, it's the reason I tracked this collection down. 

Orly Hot Tropics

Magenta creme with silver shimmer

The cool counter part to Ablaze and just as awesome.

Digital Nails Highlander

Solid gooooold. Very holo as well. And inspired by the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, which was a super win for me. That series was one of my firsts into the "grown-up" book world. 

 

Digital Nails Supernova

Four coats

Silver holo microglitter in a clear base.

OH YES. I love holo microglitter and this is striking. I love the full effect of it worn by itself but you will need multiple coats to achieve full coverage. 

 Digital Nails Dark Matter

Four coats
Purple holo microglitter in a clear base.
The same type of polish as Supernova but in a different color. Love it!

Digital Nails Keepin' It Weird

Layered over Orly Saturated

Various iridecent glitter in a tinted purple base. 

This polish was created for a group of fellow Austin ladies (Keep Austin Weird!), big thank you to Raph for making it.

Essie Summer 2014 Haute in the Heat Collection: My Picks

Hello! Today I have a few polishes from Essie's Summer 2014 Haute in the Heat Collection for you all. The is actually one of two collection Essie released for the summer season, I did a post on the Too Taboo Collection a few weeks ago. Out of the two collections, I much preferred this set. The colors really play well off of each other and are just so saturated. I didn't purchase Fierce, No Fear or Haute in the Heat but those can be shown here. I don't know if I have a favorite, these fours colors are pretty much perfect cremes (or jelly in the case of Roarrrrange) which is a major weakness for me.
