Pahlish The Cake is a Lie Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! I have a polishes from Pahlish for you today. These five polishes are part of the upcoming The Cake is a Lie Collection inspired by the game Portal. Lots of sparkle in gorgeous jewel tone colors.

The Cake is a Lie Collection will be released tomorrow, Sunday January 17th at 7 pm CST in Pahlish's shop

Each full size bottle is $11 and you can purchase the full five piece set for a discounted $50.

Pahlish Combustible Lemon II
Three coats
Red/orange jelly with gold and copper flakes, copper ultra-chrome and scattered holographic micro-flakes
Oh my goodness, will you look at that stunning orange?! I adore the color (no surprise) and how pretty those flakes are in the base. Three coats for coverage with a hint of visible nail line still but not enough to be an issue.

Pahlish Dangerous Mute Lunatic
Three coats
Turquoise green jelly with green iridescent glitter, gold flakes, and scattered holographic flakes
Green in all it's glory. The base is definitely a turquoise but with the added green and gold, you end up with a rich emerald result. This was a bit more opaque than Combustible Lemon, you may be able to get away with two coats but I applied three to be safe.

Pahlish Intelligence Dampening Sphere
Three coats
Cobalt blue jelly with violet shimmer, purple ultra-chrome and scattered holographic flakes
Blue lovers will rejoice with this blue number. I like how "glowy" it is. Application is basically the same as Dangerous Mute Lunatic.

Pahlish Married (to Science!)
Three coats
Raspberry jelly with iridescent orange glitter, pink flakes, and scattered holographic micro-flakes
Pretty as can be with the sparkle and jeweled look of it. The orange flakes add some warmth to the color. This was a bit less opaque in color, but reached full opacity with three thicker coats.

Pahlish Maybe Black Mesa
Three coats
Blackened violet jelly with violet and purple flakes with scattered holographic micro-flakes
Dark and almost black but not quite. I love the purple overtone that as well as the added purple flakes. Same formula and application as the previous polishes.
