Darling Diva Polish The Force Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hey all! I have an awesome collection from Darling Diva Polish for you today. I meant to share this almost two weeks ago and then my blog went into the black hole that is the holiday season. But no more delay! And with gifs! YAY!

These eight polishes make up the Force Collection, inspired by Star Wars of course. I know that maker Carrie is a huge fan (which really, is an understatement). I had my own marathon of the original trilogy before I saw the newest film and it was so fun to have polishes with the name references and color inspiration to go with the excitement of the new release.

The Force Collection is in stock now in Darling Diva Polish's shop

Darling Diva Polish Help Me Obi-Wan Kenobi, You're My Only Hope!
Three coats
White jelly base with blue iridescent shimmer and holographic sparkle
Very soft and pretty. It is thinner in opacity, I wore three coats here for coverage. If you apply a good ridge builder base, you will get a bit better coverage.

Darling Diva Polish RRRAARRWHHGWWR
Two coats
Dark brown jelly with holographic shimmer
A very Chewie color right? I like the warmth of it and how opaque it was with two coats to cover.

Darling Diva Polish I Know
Two coats
Berry pink holographic with blue/violet micro-glitter scattered throughout
That quote is probably my favorite of the entire series! This berry number is very pretty with the contrasting bits of glitter. It's slightly thicker than the other jelly based polishes but two coats and you're done.

Darling Diva Polish Jedi Knight
Three coats
Blue to red color shifiting shimmer with ultra-chrome flakes
Holy heck this is a gorgeous polish. I regret not swatching it over black because while it looks great by itself, it looks AMAZING over black

Darling Diva Polish May the Force Be With You
Layered over a dark blue base
Slightly tinted blue base with iridescent multi-colored flakes and holo micro-shimmer
I thought I had all the flake toppers I needed but this one made me seriously excited, I can't say exactly why but it's wonderful over that blue. It is a bit sparser than I wanted, this is shown with two coats over the base.

Darling Diva Polish Scruffy Looking Nerf Herder!
Two coats
Brick red jelly with holographic pigment
Beautiful muted red that has brown coloring and in a cooler shade then the previously shown RRRAARRWHHGWWR.

Darling Diva Polish Sith Lady
Three coats
Red to gold multi-chrome shimmer with holographic sparks
Really nice color-shift, layered or not. It is a thinner in opacity so I applied three coats.

Darling Diva Polish I'd Just As Soon Kiss A Wookiee!
Two coats
Magenta purple with lots of holographic flakes
YUM. This is absolutely packed with those holo flakes and the base color is bold and bright.

ALSO, I had to share one of my favorite Star Wars gifs, with the hotness that is Ewan McGregor. Hilarious but also smoldering.
