Crows Toes My Homicidal Valentine Trio: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello all! How about something new from Crows Toes for you today? These three are part of her Valentine's Day offering, named My Homicidal Valentine Trio. While I love red and pinks, I totally appreciate the dark and vampy feel of this set. Lauri the maker behind Crows Toes can do soft and delicate but I especially like it when she goes dark and bold.

My Homicidal Valentine Trio to be released Sunday February 7th at 10 am EST in Crows Toes shop. They will be priced for $12 each

Crows Toes Darkhearted
Two coats
Blue toned black linear holographic
Don't you love a good black holo? I know I do. This one is fantastic, formula was great, I just needed two coats for coverage, and it has a blue cast to the coloring that make it more unique. It's not close the red/black, slightly charcoal look that is Black Widow and it doesn't have the metallic purple duo-chrome look of One Trick Pony if you were wanting to compare the three.

Crows Toes DRT
Three coats
Purple to gold multi-chrome with gold/red ultra-chrome flakes
DRT or Dead Right There, which is basically how I feel about this one. I promise you that my photos do not do this one justice. In the bottle you will see the purple to gold coloring but I do see a flash of blue, that may be more my shade lighting though. Good amount of coverage, I applied two coats and a very light third one to cover my tips. You could layer this over black and and just need one coat that way too.

Crows Toes Soulless
Two coats
Black, blue, silver, gold holographic micro-glitter
Hmmmmmm so much yes. This is meant to be Heartless' evil twin sister and I wholeheartedly approve. It has great coverage, this is just two coats for coverage. Because of that opaqueness though, you will want to wait a few minutes between coats to avoid any dragging. And a double layer of topcoat because all that glitter needs it to have a smooth finish.
