Hello! I am so excited to share with you Darling Diva Polish's newest collection. If you loved the first Deadpool inspired collection that was released a couple of months back, then you will be happy to see the Deadpool 2 Collection; Even Deader.
Disclaimer: As with the first collection, some of the names are referencing the rated R film, Deadpool, so heads up!
Look for the Deadpool 2 Collection to be released Friday June 17th in Darling Diva Polish's shop.
Darling Diva Polish British Sh*t Stick
Three coats
Purple to blue to red color shifting multi-chrome with holographic flakes
Maker note: The name is just funny. Just laugh with it. Unless you are British then maybe not so much......
The polish is way more dignified than the name suggests. I like the strong shift from red to blue/purple that you get. Formula is the same for all the multi-chromes in this collection so I will do a cut and paste response: It's on the thin side so you can build up for opacity like I did in three coats. You can also layer one coat over a black base. Otherwise, it applies easily.

Three coats
Teal green to blue to purple color shifting multi-chrome with holographic flakes
Maker note: One of the best lines in the whole movie! It’s a given it has to go on a stunning polish!
The green is there I promise you! It was very visible in the bottle and in person I can see the teal green flash more prominently. And that name, LOL, that cracked me up.

Three coats
Red to gold to orange color shifting multi-chrome with holographic flakes
Maker note: Every task should start off with you saying MAXIMUM EFFORT! going to the grocery store? MAXIMUM EFFORT!!! Folding clothes? MAXIMUM EFFORT!!
My favorite of the collection. That shift though, way intense.

Darling Diva Polish Oh Yeah, I’m Touching Myself Tonight
Three coats
Cyan blue to purple color shifting multi-chrome with holographic flakes
Maker note: I like to think the polish is fwappworthy hence the name;)
Fwapworthy is a good descriptor of this shifty goodness.

Darling Diva Polish Ajaxxed
Two coats
Teal green crelly with holographic flakes
Maker note: Because I just love Ajax. Like seriously love.
So that actor who played Ajax in the film? He is one good looking dude. Sometimes you need an eye candy villain. This teal polish is also eye candy. It was one of the more opaque colors so two thin coats for coverage. I did not have any sort of discoloring when I swatched but those teal colors are notorious for staining so make sure you base coat up!

Darling Diva Polish Negasonic Teenage... What the Sh*t?
Three coats
Black jelly with pink to gold color shifting-flakes and holographic flakes
Maker note: Ellie (Negasonic Teenage Warhead herdamnself!) would be proud to wear this I bet.
Yes! Flakes! All the flakes! Also, I forgot to matte it but you should definitely matte this one. It needed about three thin coats for coverage.

Blood red crelly with holographic flakes
Maker note: What else would you call this red in THIS collection? hahaha on myself with that.
OH DAMN GIRL. That's a sexy red. Similar to Ajaxxed in formula so two coats was all I needed for coverage.

Maker note: Don’t the flakies look a little like tiny holographic teeth??? CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP!!
The bold blue with those silver flakes is magical. MAGICAL I SAY. Two coats for coverage.

Maker note: Who doesn’t want their man to play this outside their bedroom window now? I know I sure do!
Specifically, this song. You're welcome for the ear worm! This is a cool toned violet and a bit less opaque, so three thin coats to get full opacity.

Layered over Pretty Serious Absence
Holographic micro-flake topper
Maker note: And just..........yeah. Nuff said. lol
Carrie creates some of my favorite topper polishes, each one a bit different and all wonderful. I like the micro-flakes in this one and that name, LOL, that name. I have it shown as one coat over the black polish base.

ReplyDeleteThanks for you input! I am going to respectfully disagree though. Knowing the maker Carrie and how much she has vocalized her love for this movie in her brand's FB group, plus the previous collection she released and the maker notes I included in this post, I know she is a fan of Deadpool, of the movie at least. Inspiration translates in all sorts of ways though, and how that comes off to a customer is of course their own opinion. But I don't see Darling Diva creating this collection purely to cash in the film.
