Hi everyone! I have a busy week here on my blog and the first post to share is the upcoming Holo Hookup Box for July. Along with polishes from Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow, the guest maker for this month is Emily de Molly. Theme is Great Barrier Reef, with the polish drawing inspiration from the Great Barrier Reef, off of the coast land of Australia.
This box may be my favorite one yet from the Holo Hookup! Emily de Molly is one of my favorite Australian indie brands so I was excited to see her contribution for the box. And the theme itself was wonderful. The inspiration that came from the vibrant underwater wonder that is the Great Barrier Reef which resulted in some absolutely awesome colors. Here is the inspiration photo that was provided:
The July 2016 Holo Hookup Box will be available during a week long pre-order window from June 21st at 9 pm EST until June 28th at 9 pm EST only in the Holo Hookup shop.
The box is $40 plus shipping which will be available domestically and internationally.
Cupcake Polish Queen Anthias
Two coats
Purple linear holographic with a slightly metallic finish
This purple has a bit of red in the coloring, which I love. You can totally see the where how the inspiration translated to the polish. It applies very smoothly, just two coats for coverage and a nice bold linear holo flame.

Different Dimension P. Sherman, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney
Two coats
Cobalt blue linear holographic with gold galaxy glitter
With that name, you know which character from which upcoming film this is inspired by. And it fits Dory perfectly. I saw more bits of gold glitter in the bottle, on the nail, they are not as visible but more as an accent to the blue. The application was easy peasy, two coats for coverage.

Glisten & Glow Great Barrier Reef Plate Corals
Three coats
Burnt orange linear holographic with gold shimmer
Rarely is burnt a good thing but when it's burnt orange, it's usually pretty dang good. Is my Texan coming out or what? That's only fair considering I live in the land where burnt orange is way of life aka Texas Longhorn College Football. Okay moving on....this is a gorgeous rich color and I love the gold shimmer. The formula is on the thin side so I ended up needing three coats to reach opacity.

Emily de Molly Warm Seas Rising
Two coats
Light teal green linear holographic with bronze/gold multi-chrome flakes
A beautiful aquatic green color and the multi-chrome flakes are a great addition. You can see them peaking through the teal green but they do not overshadow the color. Application was superb, two coats for coverage.
