Potion Polish Christmas 2016 Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi y'all! I have some polishes from Potion Polish to share today. This eight polish set is her upcoming Christmas 2016 Collection, full of sparkly and seasonal holiday colors.

Look for these to be released this Friday, December 2nd at 1 pm EST in Potion Polish's shop, they will range in price from $10.00- $10.75 each.

Potion Polish All Decked Out
Three coats
Rose gold with holo silver micro-flakes
Slightly peach leaning but that may vary depending on your skin tone. It's not super warm which I like and the flakes are lovely. Because of its jelly nature I ended up wearing it with three coats.

Potion Polish Christmas Cheer
Two coats
Deep plum with blue sheen and holo silver micro-flakes
Good gosh y'all, this is stunning, most definitely the star of the collection. Not quite a duo-chrome but you will see some flash of gold in the bottle, on the nail I don't see the gold but it has that amazing blue sheen glow. Opaque formula and good consistency in application.

Potion Polish Define Naughty
Two coats
Light creamy beige crelly with holographic pigment
A cool toned neutral which is complimentary on me (yes please to all the cool neutrals). This has a thicker formula but opaque, despite the pale shade, so I applied two coats with a bit of care.

Potion Polish Even Santa Loves Pink
Two coats
Soft pink holographic with gold shimmer and flecks
Eeek. So pretty and girly, I almost can't stand it. The key word there is almost. I loooove how the gold shimmers in the pale, lavender leaning. pink base.

Potion Polish Holly Bough
Two coats
Dark green holographic with gold ultra-chrome flakes
It would not be a proper Christmas collection without a good green. This one is a verrry nice green and the ultra-chrome flakes add some depth to the base. Smooth application too.

Potion Polish Morning Mocha
Three coats
Dark chocolate with  copper shimmer and golden bronze ultra-chrome flakes
Don't you love a good burnished brown? I hope you do and if you weren't a fan before, maybe this one will tempt you now. It has a crelly consistency and while two coats would have been fine, I did one light third to cover any patches.

Potion Polish Snowmelt
Two coats
Frosty winter blue with silver flakes and holographic pigment
I wasn't totally in love with this one but I prefer a dark, bolder blue. For those who like 'em paler, this will perfect for you though. The silver adds subtle sparkle. Thicker style formula, so two carefully applied coats and you are done.

Potion Polish Very Merry
Two coats
Cranberry holographic with gold micro-glitter
Finally we have this cranberry red number. Not terribly unique but a beautiful, rich color and the gold glitter are a nice addition. Easy application in two coats.
