Such a bold pop of color and it compliments the pink well too. Nice formula and application and medium density holo flame.

Provided for Review
Hellllllo all! I have some pretty newer polishes from Model City Polish to share, in the form of her Winter 2016 Collection. These are similar to the Fall 2015 Collection, which means sparkle goodness with wonderful formula and application. The Winter 2016 Collection is available now in Model City Polish's Shop. Each full size bottle is $11.

I also have a discount code for you! Use the code IDANAILSIT for 10% off your order. This code is good until February 29th. ALSO, if you want more Model City Polish in your life, consider joining the Model City Polish Addiction fan group on Facebook.

Model City Polish Berry Sweet
Two coats
Berry pink jelly with silver holographic glitter and holographic pigment
Such a sweet looking shade of pink, plus flawless application in two coats.

(Direct Sunlight)

Model City Polish Frozen
 Two coats
Vibrant blue jelly with silver holographic glitter and holographic pigment
I love how pretty those silver glitters look in the deep blue base. It makes me want to put this on and twirl around in the snow, except that we have no snow in central Texas.

(Direct Sunlight)

Model City Polish Glisten
Three coats
Pale gray jelly with silver holographic glitter and holographic pigment
So light and delicate. It is very much a "winter" polish in my eyes. This is one that you will likely need to apply at least three coats to get complete coverage.

(Direct Sunlight)

Model City Polish Grape Crush
 Two coats
Grape purple jelly with silver holographic glitter and holographic pigment
So gosh darn PURPLE. Same super easy application as the first two shown.

(Direct Sunlight)

Model City Polish Teal Next Year
Two coats
Teal green jelly with gold holographic glitter and holographic pigment
I love that this has gold glitter instead of silver because it compliments the teal really well. Two coats and you're done!

Darling Diva Polish The Force Collection Part Two: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have a new set of polishes from Darling Diva Polish today. Darling Diva released her first set of The Force Collection in December, here is my blog post if you wanted a refresher, and now we have a whole other new collection that serves as part two! I am including more gifs for this post as I did for the part one, hope you enjoy those.

The Force Collection Part Two will be released Friday January 22nd at 7 pm CST in Darling Diva Polish's shop.
Polishes will be priced from $8.50 to $12 each and you can purchase the full eight polish set for a discounted $70.

Darling Diva Polish These Aren't the Droids You're Looking For
Two coats
White crelly with silver, gold, blue, and red glitter
Basically R2-D2 and C-3PO in a polish. The white itself was opaque enough that you could apply just two coats with some visible nail line but I applied three for total coverage.

Darling Diva Polish Blood is Thicker...
Two coats
Deep red jelly with holographic gold and red micro-glitter
You knew I would love this one right? Oh yeah, I totally do. Very rich in color and very easy to apply in two coats.

(Direct Sunlight)

Darling Diva Polish Cloud City
Three coats
Sky blue jelly base with pink shimmer, multi-colored iridescent flakes and holographic pigment
The color is dreamy, just like it's inspiration. It is on the thin side, I applied three coats and still had some visible nail showing. I prefer that rather than layering but if that bothers you, you could apply this over a variety of blue shades for the same effect.

Darling Diva Polish Come to the Dark Side
Two coats
Black jelly linear holographic with silver flakes and red micro-glitter
Oh the temptation of the dark side....in polish form. TEMPT ME NOT! (but really, yes please).
I like the hints of red and the silver accents in this and that you get a good amount of coverage in two coats.

(Direct Sunlight)

Darling Diva Polish Do or Do Not, There is No Try
Two coats
Moss green crelly with blue/green ultra-chrome flakes plus gold and holographic shimmer
Not a color I would immediately gravitate toward (yellow toned greens and I don't see eye to eye) but I like the flakes and how the holo shimmer sparkles in the light.

(Direct Sunlight)

Darling Diva Polish Let the Wookiee Win
Two coats
Caramel brown jelly linear holographic with copper flakes
Another Wookiee inspired brown and just as nice as the previous collection's RRRAARRWHHGWWR. The copper flakes warm up the color and it is especially nice in the sun with it's holo-ness. I was expecting to need three coats but two coats worked out great.

(Direct Sunlight)

Darling Diva Polish My M'Effen Lightsaber is Purple
Two coats
Mid-tone purple linear holographic with purple and silver ultra-chrome flakes
I love that Samuel L. Jackson wanted to have his "bad mother****er"light saber be purple. And this polish is 100% worthy of that title. It's bold and glowy and crazy pretty in the sun. Quite opaque in coverage, you barely need two coats for coverage.

(Direct Sunlight)

Darling Diva Polish Rey
Two coats
Medium sandy nude linear holographic with gold shimmer and flakes
And finally we have this lovely neutral. The gold shimmer and flakes warm up the color and on me, compliments my skin tone. Applies well with just two coats needed for coverage.

Polish My Life Girls & Boys Collection Miami Edition: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have another collection to share with you today, this time from Polish My Life. She has plans this year to release a new collection series, named the Girls & Boys Collection, each centered around a city. This first set is inspired by Miami and is three piece collection with gorgeous colors that do invoke the vibrant city that is Miami.

The Girls & Boys Collection: Miami Edition will be released Saturday January 23rd at 2 pm EST in Polish My Life's shop.

Each full size bottle will be $11 each or you can purchase the three polish set for a discounted $30.

Polish My Life Le Fontaineblue
Three coats
Dusky lagoon blue crelly with subtle holographic shimmer
A beautiful and softened blue that is reminiscent of the beach front. I love the slick look you get the crelly formula and the light sparkle from the holo shimmer. This is a bit thinner in coloring than the other two, I applied three coats and still had just a teeny bit of visible nail line but I actually like that, it adds to the aquatic feel of it.

Polish My Life Pink Flamingo
Three coats
Bright flamingo pink crelly with subtle holographic shimmer
Another pretty color with this pink. Definitely my favorite of the three. This has a bit more opaque formula than Le Fontaineblue so you may not need a third coat but I applied it just to be safe.

Polish My Life White Linen
Three coats
Crisp white crelly with subtle holographic shimmer
Just so very crisp, that's the first thing to came to mind. The shimmer is definitely there but is lost somewhat in my photos. Formula wise it is what I would expect of a white crelly, not very opaque and it will be streaky in that first coat. But it self levels well and by that second coat you will get more coverage. I applied a very light third coat just so I had an entirely opaque photo.
