Pahlish There is a Song Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have some new Pahlish to share with you today. The six in this post make up the There is a Song Collection which will be releasing next week. If you have been following Pahlish, you know that maker Shannon is a major Doctor Who fan and has released a number of Doctor Who inspired collections and polishes. This collection is inspired by the incomparable River Song.

Just a note with my photos, I am starting to explore taking photos under artificial lighting. I am still working on my technique but I hope they are just as helpful as my natural and direct sunlight photos. If you have any thoughts or feedback, just let me know in the comments section!

There is a Song Collection will be released Sunday February 14th at 7 pm CST in Pahlish's shop.

Pahlish Hello Sweetie
Two coats
Lilac jelly with silver flakes and soft violet-blue shimmer
Beautiful! The lucious shade of liliac with those complimentary silver flakes and shimmer, so gosh darn pretty. Two coats worked great, if you apply thinner coats you may need a light third one.

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Impossible Astronaut
Two coats
Sandy nude with silver micro-shimmer
I love neutrals like this that can be very subtle but just as interesting as a bold color. Nice coverage in two coats.

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Melody Malone
Two coats
Gray toned purple creme with pink shimmer
Seriously one fantastic color, with its dusky tone and that contrasting shimmer, hmmmm. Wonderful fluid formula that will get opaque in two coats.

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Singing Towers
Three coats
Espresso brown jelly with red and copper ultra-chrome and holographic micro-flakes
Deliciously rich brown color and the holo and chrome flakes, oh yes, they look striking in the polish. This was thinner in formula, so I applied two coats and light third one to cover my tips.

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Spoilers
Three coats
Deep oxblood red jelly with iridescent white flakes
A dark burgundy to balance with the lighter shades, which I am totally on board with. With it's jelly base you will need three thin coats for coverage.

(Artificial Lighting)

(Direct Sunlight)

Pahlish Stormcage
Three coats
Blackened violet jelly with a mix of silver, blue, violet, and pink flakes
The silver/blue/violet/pink flakes give this a slightly blue toned to the purple. Formula wise, similar to Spoilers so three coats will give you the coverage you need.

(Artificial Lighting)

(Direct Sunlight)
