Hey all! I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday so far. For today, I have a couple of new polishes from Contrary Polish. These two will be store exclusives for Color4Nails and will be released this Sunday, April 24th, in their shop. I am also including the inspiration photo colleges for the polishes below:
Contrary Polish How Prim is Your Rose?
Three coats
Light rose pink with copper and holographic shimmer/micro-glitter
I really loved this rosy pink. The crelly finish gives it a nice shine and the copper in the base makes me a happy blogger. Application wise, I found that it was almost opaque in two coats but I didn't want any patches visible in my photos so I applied a third coat, along with my standard topcoat. I did find that I had to make sure I had enough polish on my brush, otherwise, the polish on my nail started to drag when I applied, so don't wipe off too much excess before you apply the 2nd or 3rd coat.

Contrary Polish I Kinda Lilac You
Three coats
Lilac crelly with silver and holographic shimmer/micro-glitter
You can never really go wrong with a nice shade of lilac purple. I like that this is a cooler counterpart to the pink, with it's silver rather than copper addition. Formula and application was about the same as How Prim is Your Rose?
