Pahlish Hothouse Flowers Collection, July 2016 Bohemian Raphsody Duo & LE Jawsome: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a huge post for you today in the form of Pahlish. In the past I have split up the collection and duo into different posts but I decided to do one massive review. It's a lot of Pahlish, so let's get right to it!

The Hothouse Flowers Collection, as well as the  July 2016 Bohemian Raphsody Duo & LE Charity Polish - Jawsome, will be released Sunday July 10th at 7 pm CST in Pahlish's shop

The Hothouse Flowers Collection polishes will be $10 each, the Duo is $16 for the set (sold together only) and the LE Charity polish is $12 (with $2 going toward the charity of this month, this month it is the Ocean Conservatory).

Formula notes: I think I have stated here before, more than a few times, how much I love Pahlish's polish formula. I rarely have an issue with application and this month was no different. Across the board, everything applied smoothly, with each polish having a nice consistency that wasn't too thick or thin. Almost all the polishes shown were done in two coats (with topcoat) and I didn't have any issues with removal either. I could hype them up more but I will just say that if you need proof, just purchase a few yourself and see for yourself.

Pahlish African Moon
Two coats
Orchid pink creme with shimmering blue micro-flakes
This reminds me a bit of a previous summer color but a better, slightly more edited version of Will-o-the-Wisp

Pahlish Balloon Flower
Three coats
Lavender creme with shimmering gunmetal micro-flakes
This is a bit similar to the first one but with a slight twist in the cooler toned purple color and the gunmetal flakes. If I had to pick between the two, I think I prefer African Moon a bit more, but that's just because I tend to go for pink over purple.

Pahlish Flame of the Forest
Two coats
Amber jelly with holographic and ultra-chrome flakes, plus glass fleck shimmer
What is this dark, rusty number doing in this collection? I don't know but I am totally on board with it!

Pahlish Grass of the Dew
Two coats
Turquoise creme with shimmering purple micro-flake shimmer
Light and delicate and so very tasty.

Pahlish Blood Lily
Two coats
Neon orange/red jelly with gold and pink flakes and bright blue shimmer
*______* My eyes! They burn! (and it hurts so good)
My favorite of the collection because neons man.

Pahlish Bromeliad
Two coats
Fluorescent pink jelly with multicolored flakes and iridescent glitter
Not quite as bright as Blood Lily but still very bright. The mix of the multi-colored flakes was not something I was expecting and they look amazing in the base color.

Pahlish Moth Orchid
Two coats
Black cherry jelly with holographic and ultra-chrome flakes, plus glass fleck shimmer
Oh wow. I really love this mix of dark and brights in the collection. And this has such a beautiful base color. MAGIC.

Pahlish Rum Runner Hibiscus
Two coats
Violet-purple jelly with violet shimmer and ultra-chrome flakes
This cooler toned polish compared to Moth Orchid with a healthy amount of flakes. The flakes have a more copper dominant coloring.

Pahlish Scaramouche
Two coats
Bohemian Rhapsody July 2016 Duo
Deep violet-purple jelly
I can't even with this duo. Bohemian Rhapsody remains my mandatory karaoke closer and I LOVE that Pahlish did a duo inspired by the song. This jelly doesn't look like it will be opaque after the first coat but with the second coat, you will get the coverage you need. I still had a bit of visual nail line but I don't mind it. It doesn't dry that shiny though, you will need to add a layer of topcoat.

Pahlish Fandango
Layered over Scaramouche
Bohemian Rhapsody July 2016 Duo
Topcoat with a mix of ultra-chrome flakes, iridescent glitters, and shimmer
The topper and the jelly base together, perfection worthy of a Queen.

Pahlish Jawsome
Two coats
LE Charity Polish
Taupe crelly with blue/violet shimmer
This will be the first polish in Pahlish's monthly LE charity series with a new polish and organization/cause featured each month! This month $2 per bottle sold will go to Ocean Conservancy.
