Hi everyone! For today I have the Holo Hookup Box for September. Along with polishes from Cupcake Polish, Different Dimension, and Glisten & Glow, the guest maker for this month is Vapid Lacquer. The theme is Art Inspired, using artistic inspiration to come up with the polishes in this month's box, here is the inspiration photo I was provided:
The September 2016 Holo Hookup Box will be available during a week long pre-order window from August 21st at 9 pm EST until August 28th at 9 pm EST only in the Holo Hookup shop.
The box is $40 plus shipping which will be available domestically and internationally.
Cupcake Polish Bad Hare Day
Two coats
Ivory linear holographic with copper micro-flakes
A beautiful and totally unique holo polish, I don't think I own anything quite like this. It has a nice fluid formula, thinner than I was expecting and is opaque enough in two coats.

Different Dimension Monroe
Two coats
Light Tiffany blue linear holographic with neon pink micro-glitter
This was the one I was most excited about in the bottle and I do like the concept but I think you lose the pink bits once it's on the nail. I would have liked to see to a bit more pink. Still, quite a unique holo polish, just like the previous Cupcake one. It was thicker in formula so apply thin coats, I ended up applying thicker ones (derp) and likely should have added one more layer of topcoat.

Glisten & Glow The Abstract Expressionist
Three coats
Berry linear holographic with gold and purple shimmer
Berry berry good. (haha I can practically hear you groaning at that). The shimmer add a bit extra tastiness and it has a quite high density holo flame. It's thinner in formula, so I applied three coats to get full opacity.

Vapid Lacquer Dali's Elephants
Two coats
Red orange linear holographic
Hello you wonderful orange red you. No extra ingredients or details, just a flat out gorgeous color and that fact that it's inspired by Dali's Elephants makes it even more lust-worthy to me. Great application, two coats for coverage and of course, my standard topcoat.
