Saturday post! I braved the elements for you guys, just in time for tonight's Elevation Polish restock and release of her December 2013 Fan Collection. A few months ago, Lulu asked fans what colors they would like to see added to the Elevation Polish line and a large number of people voiced yellow, green, more holo's, and coral with glitter. And behold, a pretty wonderful collection, if I may so.
Also, in appreciation of the many lovely supporters of Elevation Polish, this month discontinued polishes are marked down 20% off, everything else is marked 15% off, with the exception of this newest collection, samples, and small batch prototypes. If you have been holding off on that one (or two or three) Elevations, then now is the time to get them, especially those marked for discontinuation.
Elevation Polish Aiguilles d'Arves
Two coats
Red toned brown holographic polish
How could Elevation's line NOT include a brown holo, hmmm? And a lovely one indeed. I like that it's more red in tone, making it very wearable for many skin tones. The holographic effect is definitely there, though not as bold as say, Darkest Storm.
I wish the weather was better, I would have loved to get a full direct sunlight photo for you all. Instead, I was able to get an indoor direct bulb-light shot. One day sun, you shall return and Aiguilles d'Arves will get it's moneyshot.
EDIT: I got to get this beauty in the sun, so this is direct sunlight shot:
Elevation Polish Alpine Heights (Carlit)
Two coats
Forest green creme
Utter perfection. Applies so smoothly and with such shine.
I have quite a number of dark creme's and somehow, none of them can match how awesome this it.
Elevation Polish Le CrĂȘt de la Neige
Two coats
Dusky coral with gunmetal and silver glitter
Mrmmmmm, yes, this is awesome. The coral leans more orange than pink and the glitter specks accent the color base well.
Elevation Polish Mount Ventoux
Two coats
Pastel yellow creme
It's always hard to pick a favorite from Elevation's collection, but this is definitely it for me.
It comes across a bit brighter than in real life, this buttery yellow is shiny and fan-freaking-tastic.
Great formula too, I applied two coats and no streaking at all.
Elevation Polish Yeti Loves the Holidays
Layered over Elevation Polish Alpine Heights (Carlit)
Clear base with gold shimmer and micro-flakes as well as lots of white glitter (including hearts), red and green circles, and gold stars.
YEEEEEETTTI! Yeti had to make an appearance for the holiday season and it sure does make an impact. This polish is only available this month and will sneak away until another day, so make sure to catch it while you can.
This collection will be available tonight! at 9 pm CST in Elevation Polish's shop. Make sure to check out Elevation's blog and Instagram for updates. Llarowe carries select Elevation Polish's as well and those can be found here.
