Lemming Lacquer The Music Collection Vol. I plus January 2016 & February 2016

Provided for Review
Hey everyone! I have a new collection from Lemming Lacquer to share today. The first seven polishes in this post are part of her recently released Music Collection, Volume I, each with a song inspiration. Lemming Lacquer is now releasing a monthly limited edition polish, which are what the two last polishes are going to be.

The Music Collection Vol. I, as well as the two monthly limited edition polishes, are available now in Lemming Lacquer's shop, though the limited edition ones will only be available until February 13th.

The holographic polishes are $12 and the other finishes are $10 each and you can purchase the full seven polish set for a discounted $66. AND you can use the code FREESHIP for free U.S. shipping for orders of $50 or more. Yeah, that's pretty sweet.

Lemming Lacquer All My Failings Exposed
Two coats
Deep sea-teal linear holographic
Gorgeous teal shade and opaque in two coats, what more could you ask for?

Lemming Lacquer Did You Forget About Me, Mr. Duplicity?
Two coats
Juicy orange jelly with gold shimmer and micro-flakes
Ooooo what a juicy looking orange! It has that heavy gold shimmer that accents the color without overpowering it. A little thick in formula but two coats was all I needed for coverage.

Lemming Lacquer I'll Eat You Whole, I Love You So
Two coats
Gray crelly with gold shimmer, charcoal flakes, and holographic pigment
Music Inspiration: Breezeblocks by alt-J
Grays are tricky for me, I don't always like them to be honest. This one is quite nice, it reminds me of speckled concrete darkened by rain. I applied thicker coats than I usually do and got coverage in two coats, if you apply thinner coats you may need to do a third.

Lemming Lacquer Miss the Misery
Two coats
Black current purple linear holographic with subtle gold sheen
Music Inspiration: I Miss the Misery by Halestorm
At first glance, this appears to be a straight black but it's not. It's a very dark shade of purple as well as having a higher density holo flame. Win! It has a thinner jelly formula so I was expecting to need three coats but two coats worked well.

Lemming Lacquer So What? I'm Still A Rockstar!
Two coats
Medium toned pink linear holographic
Music Inspiration: So What? by Pink
Not a delicate pink but a darker, richer pink shade, which fits the inspiration really well. Two coats is all you will need for coverage.

Lemming Lacquer Wanna Serve Me, Show Me You Deserve Me
Two coats
Red toned purple foil shimmer
Music Inspiration: Baby I Call Hell by Deap Vally
I thought this was had holographic shimmer but no, it's a foil shimmer, unexpected and totally appreciated. The color feels more like a fall color however, I can see myself wearing this in the hot summer months when I want something vampy.

Lemming Lacquer A Kiss With A Fist Is Better Than None
Layered over Wanna Serve Me, Show Me You Deserve Me
Clear based topper of rainbow glitter including hearts, starts, and lightening bolts
Music Inspiration: Kiss With A Fist by Florence + the Machine
Rainbow glitter topper? Yes oh yes, that's what I love. The glints of gold give the glitter mix some warmth. You will get a good amount of coverage with one dapped coat over a base color. I like how it looks over the dark purple but I also want to wear it over a nude base, next time.

 Lemming Lacquer January 2016
Two coats
Dusky eggplant purple linear holographic with subtle gold sheen
Creamy shade of dusky purple with a medium density holo flame. Purple lovers rejoice!

Lemming Lacquer February 2016
Two coats
Ruby red linear holographic
I bet you can figure out which one is my favorite. Shocking I know. And this is a gooooood red holo. It has that glowing quality that red holos have and the shade itself is not pink toned but cool toned cherry red. Great coverage in two coats, which by now, you will see is the application experience for most of the polishes in this post.
