Darling Diva Polish Deadpool Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I am so happy it's Friday and my excitement for the weekend is even more so because I get to share with you Darling Diva Polish's Deadpool Collection, inspired by the film Deadpool. I love LOVED this movie. I went to see it with low expectations and I laughed so so much. Maker Carrie was also a big fan and voila, new inspiration collection!

Note about the names and GIF images: This is film is definitely a hard R rating in language and violence. And many of the polish names and references are adult in nature. I did a bit of editing on the names but I still have to warn you, as I don't want those who may be offended to start the post without that info.

The Deadpool Collection will be released Friday, April 8th at 7 pm CST in Darling Diva Polish's shop.

Darling Diva Polish All the Dinosaurs Fear the T-Rex
Two coats
Fuchsia linear holographic polish
One of my favorite scenes of the movie with the name reference. The color is saturated and tasty looking and gorgeous both in and out of the sun.

Darling Diva Polish As Much Fun as a Sandpaper D*ldo
Three coats
Light baby pink shimmer with blue sparks and holographic shimmer
A sweet looking pink shimmer with a not so sweet name. This is sheerish so three coats for coverage.

Darling Diva Polish Big Rubber Masturbating Shoes
 Two coats
Cobalt blue crelly
*GASP* It's just so intensely blue, you know I love it! It's on the thick side for application, so I applied two thin coats for coverage. This does dry to a matte finish as well, but as you can see below, a layer of topcoat will give you that shine.

Darling Diva Polish Crown of D*cks
Three coats
Dark purple shimmer with blue and blue micro-flakes
Dat shimmer though. I really like how it looked with the matte topcoat too. Thinner in formula so I applied three coats.

(With Matte Topcoat)

Darling Diva Polish Francis
Two coats
Teal linear holographic
I don't know if the villain deserves to be inspiration for such a pretty color but FINE, Francis can get his consolation prize. Application was very nice, with two coats.

Darling Diva Polish International Women's Day
Two coats
Pink creme
Oh my gosh you guys, when I saw the name of this color I could not stop laughing. If you remember the scene from the movie, that may help with the reference. This was one that I had a bit of an issue when I first received the collection from Carrie, once I gave her my feedback she reformulated the polish and sent the new one to review (which is this below). Application was great, two nicely self-leveling coats for coverage.

Darling Diva Polish Sexy Motherf**ker
Two coats
Red linear holographic
The color of a certain sexy man's suit. It's just a tad pink toned, so I thought of it as a burnished cherry red, if that makes any sort of sense. Really nice opaque formula so two coats for coverage.

Darling Diva Polish Smells Like Old Lady Pants
Three coats
Light grey linear holographic with blue shimmer
So yeah, at first glace you are like, sweatpants gray? But the shimmer and holo elevate this to a pretty (and not all old lady pants like) polish. This is a little on the sheer side so three coats for coverage, with a but of visible nail under direct sun.

Darling Diva Polish Time to Make the Chimif*ckingchangas
Layered over Big Rubber Masturbating Shoes
Clear base with multi-colored flakes and scattered holographic pigment
YAS. Flakes galore and a really nice amount of coverage, this is one generous coat over the base. You can wear it over almost any color but I happen to love flakes over cobalt blue so this layering combo was automatic for me. I added a layer of matte topcoat for the third photo so you can see the detailing a bit more.

(With Matte Topcoat)

Darling Diva Polish What in the A**?
Three coats
Warm toned purple linear holographic
Purple satisfaction at it's finest! It has a little red in the coloring so it's a warmer purple. Three thinner coats for coverage.
