Different Dimension Cosmologically Speaking Collection Part 3: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hello! I have a new collection from Different Dimension today. These five polishes make up her upcoming Cosmologically Speaking Collection Part 3 which is releasing this Friday, April 15 at 9pm EST in Different Dimension's shop.

EDIT: I have been informed that the texture finish is not something that is meant to be in place and due to a defective ingredient. I was not aware that this was an issue at the time of my post. Any of the polishes shown here has been reformulated for release, so your bottles should not have the same issue.

Different Dimension Houston, We Have a Problem
Two coats
Magenta to purple with flashes of hot pink and scattered holo effect
This is like....WHOA. Very strong shimmer and the bits of holo add sparkle. The scattered holo shards? glitter? They leave you with a bit of texture but topcoat helps with that.

Different Dimension Hubble
Two coats
Cobalt blue to light blue duochrome with scattered holo effect
How can you resist such a bold shade of blue? I can not. Formula is easy to apply, with two coats for coverage. Also, it's probably a good idea with such a pigmented blue to apply a good protective base coat. I did have any staining but if I had it on longer I would like to have that sort of base coat protection.

Different Dimension International Space Station (ISS)
Two coats
Medium teal with scattered holo effect
I love this sort of teal in shimmer form because the polish has that glowy look. I did find that I had more texture with this polish than the others so I would recommend doubling up on your topcoat.

Different Dimension SpaceX
Three coats
Peach to pink with a strong flash pink flash and holographic pigment
This is glitter finish rather than a holographic shimmer, so I needed three coats for coverage. The color shift is much more obvious in person and it has a higher denisty holo flame.

Different Dimension The Eagle Has Landed
Two coats
Dark purple with strong copper shimmer and scattered holo effect
Majestic! That was the word that popped into my head. Formula and application was the same as the first three in this collection.

  1. Hmmm, the shades are stunning (as are your perfect swatches) but I really dislike the lumpy look :(

    1. Thank you Stacy! I did edit my post that the customers won't be receiving the textured versions, so I hope you do grab the colors that appeal to you.

  2. Hey Ida! How does the eagle has landed compare to cirque coronation?

    1. Hi Jamie! They look similar at first glance but they are still different. Coronation was a jelly based polish and had that color-shifting unicorn pee pigment. The Eagle Has Landed is more opaque and has shimmer but not the same kind. Both pretty though!
