Great Lakes Lacquer and Crystal's Charity Lacquers - In The Fight To Win & You're a Rainbow: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have two special polishes to share with you today. Great Lakes Lacquer has created two polishes to contribute to Crystal's Charity Lacquers, which is a Facebook group founded by Crystal Weber. Since last year, Crystal has been working with indie polish brands to create custom or one of a kind polishes that are sold or fund-raised for giveaways, with all the proceeds being donated to various charity organizations. So you get to buy pretty polishes from your favorite brands and it all goes toward great causes!

The most recent collaboration has been put together to raise awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis (or MS). Here are details from Crystal as to how you can be entered to win these polishes:

For this fundraiser, I have contacted a number of brands who have agreed to create a custom, or one of a kind polish that we will be giving away! Through the MS Walk and Run, I have a personal fundraising page. For every $10 donated through this link, you will earn 1 entry into the draw. For every $50 you donate, you will receive a bonus entry! The draw for these very special polishes will be held after the MS Walk and Run on Sunday, May 15th.

If you haven't already joined Charity Lacquers' Facebook group, you definitely should check it out. There is a pinned post at the top which includes more information regarding this giveaway event, as well as Crystal's own personal connection to MS.

Great Lakes Lacquer In The Fight To Win
Two coats
Darker periwinkle crelly with two types of silver shimmer.
I tend to fall immediately into lust mode for periwinikle shades but especially when they are as nice as this one. The silver is a nice sparkly touch and the formula applies well, with two coats for coverage.

Great Lakes Lacquer You're a Rainbow
Three coats
Black linear holographic with various colored micro flakes
A deep, dark blue holo with the yummy flakes to add some depth. It is a jelly holo so three coats for coverage and in the sun you will get a higher density holographic flame.
