Pink Gellac Uncovered 2 Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi guys! I have some new gel polishes from Pink Gellac to share today. These are all part of the recently released Uncovered2 Collection, a more work friendly set with neutral toned colors. If you want to more about how to apply Pink Gellac, refer to my review of the Starter Kit I received a few months back.

I am so impressed by the formula and application experience with Pink Gellac. For a beginner gel polish user like me, they apply easily and I love the understated but beautiful colors in the set. If you like what you see and want to order the Uncovered2 Collection or even get the Starter Kit, head on over to the Pink Gellac website (which offers free shipping for orders over $65) or through their US distributor, Chickettes

Pink Gellac Bronzed Nude
Two coats
Chocolate brown creme
A milky brown creme shade which I know would be a perfect nude on several people. It's not a color I would wear often but I love how shiny it is, all cause of that gel finish.

Pink Gellac Heavenly Mauve
Two coats
Dark mauve with pink shimmer
This may be my favorite of the collection. It's a sophisticated purple toned mauve color and the shimmer adds some depth.

Pink Gellac Ivory Blush
Three coats
Pink tinted ivory creme
This was a bit more sheer than the other polishes so you will likely need to apply three coats if you want full opacity. If you don't mind visible nail lines, you could get away with two coats. It is especially important to apply thin coats, if you apply too thick coats, then you run the risk of this not curing right but peeling off sooner instead. The color is light and delicate and with just a hint of pink to give it some warmth.

Pink Gellac Spicy Sienna
Two coats
Caramel brown creme with orange/red color shimmer
I do like this one a lot, especially with that fiery colored shimmer. It is something I can see myself wearing in the fall season. Make sure to cap you tips with this one, I could see a bit of my nail at the very tip and it's because I neglected to do that.

Pink Gellac Golden Glam
Layered over Pink Gellac Ivory Blush
Clear base with rose gold and gold micro-glitter
Not quit a full coverage glitter polish though it can be built up if you want to wear it solo (Very Emily has it shown that way). I liked how it looked over Ivory Blush, just a bit of sparkle over the light base.
