Fanchromatic Nails Monday

Hey everyone! Today I have a few polishes from Fanchromatic Nails, which a new-to-me brand. I love to see brands that are inspired by something they love, in the case of Fanchromatic, many items draw inspiration from the "geeky goodness". I had no problems with application or formula, everything applied smoothly. The latter two items shown here are currently available, along many other awesome polishes, in Fanchromatic Nails' Etsy shop. Hoochy Coochy Show will be released this Wednesday, July 16th, as well as a number of others.

Fanchromatic Nails Hoochy Coochy Show
Layered over American Apparel Hassid
Clear based topper with a rainbow of holo glitter and violet and blue shimmer.
Inspired by the show Carnivale, this is very much a BAM-in-your-face type of polish! I tested this on a number of base colors and it was just gorgeous over each one but I decided to swatch it over black, with that strong shimmer, you can appreciate it to it's fullest.

Fanchromatic Nails Rules of Acquisition
Two coats
Green/blue shimmer with gold tones.
Inspired by the Ferengi people of Star Trek and the color of nail polish that they wear.
I have never been a Star Trek fan (sorry!) so I don't have any connection toward the inspiration BUT I don't have to in order to appreciate this lovely polish. I like that it has a very metallic finish to it and if you have some matte top coat, you should apply that for a more wow factor. Sadly, my bottle of matte top coat was down to the little bit when it came time for me to swatch this polish.

Fanchromatic Nails Save the Princess
Three coats
Deep blue jelly base with varied silver and gold glitter
Inspired by Star Wars, specially from A New Hope.
Another instance in which I am not really a part of the Star Wars fandom (sorry! again!) but the polish itself is so pretty, it's my favorite of the three. I love the depth you get from the glitter in the blue jelly base. You can layer it but I like the effect of it by itself.

Fanchromatic Nails can be purchased from her Etsy store. Updates can be found on her Facebook page and Instagram
