Hi everyone! It's been a slow week here on my blog as I was sick for part of last week and this week. I am back today with a trio of polishes honoring the special women we call Mom. These three polishes are part of Turtle Tootsie Polishes Mother's Day Collection.

Three coats
Teal green jelly holographic with pink micro-glitter
A pretty spring green. I like the coloring that the pink micro-glitter brings to the polish. This was easy to apply with three thinner coats and though there is micro-glitter, I didn't find it the finish to be gritty or bumpy but still quite smooth with one layer of topcoat.

Four coats
Lilac purple holographic micro-glitter in a clear base
Micro-glitter bombs results in some of my favorite glitter polishes, especially when they sparkle in the light like this one does. You could wear this as a topper over a base color, or you could build up to opacity like I did with four coats. That does require a bit more patience I will admit but I like the effect of that more. Removal would be like any other micro-glitter polish, so expect for that. You can apply your favorite easy removal base coat or place a cotton ball soaked in acetone over the nail for a few minutes before removing in one glide.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes Queen of the House
Two coats
Mid-tone purple holographic with silver holo micro-glitter
Light and lovely and as with Cherish, I love the glints you get from the silver holo micro-glitter. This is one that was more opaque in coverage, I applied two coats for coverage and that was all I needed. Don't load up too much polish on your brush when you do apply, I felt that I had more visible brushstrokes and less was better.
