Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Fan Favorites 2016 Collection plus Xoxo, Siren: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi guys! I have some polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer today. The polishes shown are not all new releases but instead many that are returning in this Fan Favorites 2016 Collection, plus a new monthly Siren. The Fan Favorites Collection was available for pre-order a few weeks back but they all will be restocked tomorrow, August 24th in Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer's shop

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Cold Inside Me
Two coats
Mid-tone teal with blue to teal color-shifting glass flecks
A gorgeous and rich blue teal color. It applies perfectly with two coats for coverage. This does dry to a satin finish.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Fire in Your Eyes
Two coats
Cherry red jelly with blue to pink color-shifting glass flecks
Oooooh this is a tasty treat! The shimmer is really prominent in the red base which I love, though it does give the red polish a pink overtone. It applies just as well as the previous one, so two coats for full opacity.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Flash Forward Fantasy
Three coats
Pale blush pink nude with violet flakes and pink to gold color-shifting shimmer
This also dries to a matte finish. It's very pink toned, so it may give you red lobster hands depending on your skin tone. I love the coloring though, blush pink anything and I am a fan. It's not quite opaque in two coats, so I applied a thin third coat for get the coverage needed.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Hydrangea
Three coats
Pale blue crelly with purple, blue, and aqua shimmer
Pastel blue with just the right amount of shimmer. Formula wise, it's thicker in formula but it's also a polish that will need at least three coats to get opaque, so when you do apply, use thin coats and wait a few minutes between them.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer I'm Dr. Martha Jones, Who the Hell Are You?
Two coats
Bright fuchsia creme with green, gold, blue color-shifting glass flecks
Hot damn, this is a stunner. The Doctor Who reference alone makes it worthy but the color is bright and like a punch of prettiness. It's thinner in formula but still opaque with two coats. This also does dry to a matte finish.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Lilac Blondes on the Beach
Three coats
Pale taupe linear holographic with purple shimmer and purple micro-flakes
For those who may want a cooler toned light neutral, this is just for you. I personally prefer the warmer color but this is lovely too. Same application experience, so three thinly applied coats.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer She's Electricity
Two coats
Rose pink linear holographic with pink and aqua shimmer plus purple & blue iridescent micro-glitter
To be honest, this didn't excite me quite as much as some of the other colors, and I don't know why, it's a very pretty pink polish! I do think a lot of you will like this number, especially because it applies really well.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Sordid End
Three coats
Periwinkle crelly with blue to purple color-shifting shimmer
This is my second bottle of this particular polish, I purchased my first one with it was originally released. It does require a bit of patience when you apply, I needed three thin coats for coverage but the color payoff is totally worth it in my opinion.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer The One Worth Leaving
Two coats
Deep berry jelly with pink and purple shimmer
Hello you beautiful vampy polish, you are just what I want to wear right now. I love the sparks of color you get from the iridescent shimmer. It's opaque enough with two coats but you may find that you need a third.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Three Years and S-teal Going
Three coats
Aqua crelly with holo micro-glitter and purple & blue micro-flakes
That color is clearly a winner, it's so bright and fresh looking! It was originally created in May to mark the third year anniversary of Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer. Like Sordid End, the formula requires some patience though. It's thicker but needs three coats minimum for opacity, so uses thinner style coats and wait a few minutes between them.

Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Xoxo, Siren
Three coats
Mid-tone grey creme with blue to purple to pink color-shifting shimmer
A cooler toned grey, which I prefer and there is also that spark of purple/pink from the shimmer. This is a limited run polish, like the others in the Siren series, so this is available until supplies sell out.

  1. Absolutely gorgeous, Ida! And yeah, I was a bit surprised by the choice of She's Electricity xD I like it as a polish, but there were others I personally would've chosen over it, hah!
