Illyrian Polish Eerie Woodlands Collection Part One: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have a newer indie brand to share with you today. Illryian Polish is the brainchild of Vanessa, who is also known as @mrslochness on Instagram. If you aren't following her already, get on that! Her photos are always drool worthy and when I saw that she was launching her own brand, I was very excited! Her debut release in November (2014) yielded some seriously pretty colors and 2015 brought her Eerie Woodlands Collection Part One.

This collection consists of four shimmer finish polishes, though I am missing Hallucinatory, that can be seen here. I was impressed by the three that I did receive. The polish formula for each one was very nice and all three applied easily, not too thick or thin in consistency. I like how different each polish was from the other but when they are place together, they compliment each other nicely. I look forward to seeing what comes next from this brand and hope you will decide to check her out!

The Eerie Woodlands Collection Part One will be restocked tonight at 7 pm CST in Illyian Polish's shop

Illyrian Polish Sinister Haze
Three coats
Cool toned off white creme/jelly with copper and red shimmer and holo pigment
This one was a surprise hit for me. I can be very selective with this time of color so I did not expect to like as much as I did! The shimmer is subtle but definitely visible and I like the added holo sparkle.

Illyrian Polish Fabled
Two coats
Magenta purple jelly with turquoise & green shimmer and violet and purple/green micro-flakes
A gorgeous color, very bright and eye-catching. The shimmer is perfect in this, though I will admit a weakness for blue/green shimmer in a purple base.

Illyrian Polish Dead Fairies
Two coats
Black jelly linear holographic with purple shimmer & violet and green micro-flakes.
I like that you get that heavy shimmer which gives the black a purple tint. I wish I had a chance to take this polish's photo in the sun, because I am sure it would have looked amazing that way. Alas, no sun. I would call this a medium density holo though, for those who have a preference on their holo polishes.
