Polished for Days Sea Nymphs Collection: Swatches and Review

Provided for Review
Hi everyone! I have one more review for today, this time from a new brand on the blog. I have purchased Polished for Days polishes in the past through the For the Love of Polish Box, which has includes polishes from Illyrian Polish and a third guest maker each month so I was excited to hear from Jenna when she reached out to me. I will go into my detail with each polish below but over all it was a great experience trying these out.

Look for the The Sea Nymphs Collection will be available for pre-order starting Friday August 12th at 11 am PST until Monday August 15th as a in Polished for Days' shop. During this pre-order window, each polish will be discounted by a $1, after the pre-order, the polishes will be regularly priced.

Polished for Days Amathia
Three coats
Dark purple jelly base with pink and gold shimmer and holographic micro-flakes
I keep making a hypocrite of myself when I speak of purple fatigue because I really loved how this purple polish looked. I think maybe I was just tired of how standard purples were becoming and this does not look like a standard purple polish, with its shimmer and flakes and such. I like the teeny tiny flakes a lot, they add holo sparkle without over shadowing the color. It applies really well, needing two coats for coverage.

Polished for Days Eucrante
Two coats
Robin's egg blue creme with sterling silver flakes, teal to navy to violet ultra chrome flakes and blue shimmer
YUM. That color is *drool* so gorgeous and I like how you get a peek of the teal and violet from the flakes. This one was a bit more thick in formula compared to the others but it was also opaque enough to not need a third coat.

Polished for Days Galene
Two coats
Ocean blue linear holographic with pink to purple to blue ultra chrome flakes
Hello you pretty blue, you are wonderful. (What? You don't speak to your polishes?) This looks familiar to me, like I have seen it before but it applied so gosh darn well, it's worth it have in my opinion.

Polished for Days Maera
Two coats
Magenta scattered holographic with copper to green to gold ultra chrome flakes and gold shimmer
I am so digging the flakes in colored base motif that this collection has and this is perfect example of how just a little color contrast of the flakes in the magenta give the polish a lust worthy look. Two coats and Polished for Days' wider, flat brush makes this easy to apply.

Polished for Days Neso
Two coats
Coral creme with navy to teal to purple ultra chrome flakes and violet shimmer
Blue! In pink! You know you can't resist it. Not as thick as Eucrante but still, two thin coats worked best when applying.

Polished for Days Pasithea
Four coats
Clear based topper of sterling silver flakes, teal to navy to violet ultra chrome flakes and aqua iridescent glitter
This is meant to be a topper polish but I wanted to see how it would look if it was built up in opacity. Well, the good new is that it looks FANTASTIC but I needed four coats to do it (and over a ridge builder base). For me, if I was to wear this again, I would still wear it this way because I like the "Wow" factor you get but if you don't want to deal with that, it would look just as nice as a one coat topper, either over a dark blue or silver base.
